Coach’s Comment: Robbie is another core piece of our trenches this year, returning as an invaluable, two-way starter at center and nose guard. While Robbie isn’t the biggest lineman on our roster, he consistently wins his matchups with pure grit, energy, effort, and an exceptional knowledge of the position.
On offense, he serves as the true anchor of the unit, setting up the front and doing a phenomenal job communicating defensive looks and blocking schemes. On defense, he shows great instinct and a knack for shedding blocks quickly, using his leverage to make himself skinny through tight gaps and make crucial plays up and down the line of scrimmage.
