Coach’s Comment: Eli has developed into a physical and athletic tight end who brings toughness and versatility to our team. He has shown the ability to block effectively on the edge and handle defensive ends and linebackers in the run game. Over the past year, his route running improved tremendously, making him a legitimate pass-catching threat as well. This season, Eli will transition to defensive end, where we expect him to be a difference-maker on the defensive side of the ball. His versatility and physicality will make him a key contributor for us on both sides of the ball this year.
