Warwick High School Football ( District 3 – Class 5A) – Assistant Coach (Defensive Coordinator)
We are seeking a motivated, high-energy Defensive Coordinator to join our football staff for the upcoming 2026 season
Applicants should be leaders who can take ownership of the defensive side of the ball and help continue to foster a tough, disciplined, and accountable program.
Position Responsibilities

Coordinate all defensive schemes, game planning, and in-game adjustments.

Develop and implement practice plans for defensive units within our overall in-season schedule.

Mentor student-athletes in character, leadership, and accountability in season and off season.

Collaborate with the head coach and full staff to build a championship program

Support off-season development, film study, and strength & conditioning.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Prior high school or collegiate coaching experience

Strong understanding of defensive concepts and player development

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills

Commitment to building relationships with student-athletes and staff
