Central Bucks West High School (District 1), a 6A Program located in Doylestown, PA is seeking a dedicated and experienced Defensive Coordinator to join our varsity football coaching staff.
A commitment and genuine love for teaching, coaching, and developing young men of character on and off the field is a top priority. We are seeking candidates who view the game of football as a vehicle to enhance the lives of our young men and value meaningful relationships above all else.
The ideal candidate must possess a deep comprehension of defensive knowledge from front to back, along with developing and implementing game plans that maximize team performance.
Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of the defensive unit, analyzing opponents tendencies, conducting film review sessions, and leading position-specific drills during practices.
The Defensive Coordinator will collaborate closely with the Head Coach and other staff members to ensure alignment with the overall program philosophy, mentor student-athletes on and off the field, and promote sportsmanship and academic success.
Prior coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level is preferred, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
