-Tyty Mattison (Carroll – WR – Jr.):
The speedy and shifty Mattison broke a PCL record with five receiving touchdowns in the Patriots, 54-8, thrashing of Delco Christian. He finished with 7 catches for 183 yards. The yardage output was a school record.

-Sabir Dawson (Roman – DB – Soph.):
Dawson made a sensational play in Roman’s track meet win versus Cardinal Newman (FL). While making a tackle he stripped and secured a fumble, returning it 51 yards for a TD. He also added an interception and made 4 tackles (TFL) in a great all-round effort.

This Explorers duo each returned a kickoff for a touchdown and a combined for 278 yards on 5 total returns. Mahoney’s went for 96 yards, while Johnson unleashed a 99-yard jaunt.
Multi-Purpose Player of the Week:
-Joey O’Brien (LaSalle – WR/S – Sr.)
The state’s #1 player showed why he holds that distinction in an exciting and entertaining win over a very good Malvern club. O’Brien made 5 catches for 123 yards, with three going for scores. On the side of the ball, he notched ten tackles (9 solo).
Spectacular in Defeat:
-Trey Smith (Arch. Wood – WR – Sr.)
Smith recorded his second consecutive impressive performance in the Vikings’, 28-20, defeat to O’Hara. Smith recorded 6 catches for 151 yards and two scores (76 & 30 yards).
