  1. Paul Sausmann says:

    Kickoff Week 1!!!

Saddest moment – final whistle of the AAAA title game.

  2. James says:

As a garnet valley fan, it has to be Spring-Ford’s run to the D1 Championship

  3. Austin Miorelli says:

In Tamaqua, before the AFL Championship Game against Marian, the whole town gathered in the center of town for a community pep rally. Then beating our biggest rivals and their “unbeatable defense” in a SHUT OUT!

  4. Jay says:

Coatesville beating LaSalle for the Eastern Title, advancing to the State Final for the first time. We all know what happened in Hershey, but the Eastern Final was a very exciting game.

  5. Phil Schadler says:

Wyomissing Area’s run to the AA state title highlighted by the wins over both Imhotep and Aliquippa. Efficient offense, stout defense, difference-making special teams, great coaching, and a lot of heart.

  6. viking57 says:

williams valley’s drudging of tri valley in the district 11 championship, special moment for all of us seniors that played

  7. Joe says:

LaSalle – St Joe Prep PCL championship by far most emotional and exciting game of year. Both teams were top 5 in the state.

  8. B says:

Week 3 in District 2 at Lake-Lehman. Down 14-0 to Wyoming Area at the start of the 4th quarter, Lehman responded by scoring early in the fourth and again with 30 seconds left. Went for 2 on the second TD for the win, and came away with a 15-14 upset. QB Bill Hillman stepped up big time conducting the game winning drive that included a TD strike to Tom Donavan. Coach Gilsky stuck with his gameplan on the 2 pt try by giving it to jones up the middle

  9. Matt says:

When CB South came back from 23-7 at halftime to beat north penn 36-29. North Penns first conference loss ever and first home loss in 10 years. It improved Souths record to 6-0

  10. Dawgs says:

    Tri – Valley with 26 kids goes 10 – 2! District 11 Runner -Up.

Blake Bowman 2251 yds! Including a 6 Touchdown 260 yd. Performance against Line MT.

  11. Mike says:

Nothing like Seeing Lasalle, and Wood lose…. Ways a good day seeing the PCL go down.

  12. Go Explorers says:

The entire LaSalle team kneeling down, locked arm in arm watching the extra point in OT against the Prep. Great moment.

  13. Brian Hope says:

Pennridge with a squad of around 38 players win the Continental and go the 3rd round in the playoffs plus the best team in school history

  14. Mike says:

Wyomissing winning a state title… Not a wyo fan but everybody had Imhotep vs Quips from day 1 and watching Wyomissing take those two teams apart is what HS football is all about.

  15. bob says:

when Ryan beat Judge in overtime

  16. Dan says:

    @Kmac,

I appreciate the kind words. Happy Holidays back at you!

  17. RON says:

having george curry return to coaching the berwick football team in 2012. Berwick went 10-2. losing to abington heights 44-35 in d2 aaa final. Berwick has a lot of quality players returning, they will be competing for d2 aaa title in 2013, but must hit the weight room hard in the off season.

  18. Kmac says:

    @Dan
Congratulations and best of luck to you and your son at the next level. I am also glad to see that there is someone other than myself that thinks high school football is the greatest. Happy holidays to you, to all of the EasternPA Football gang, and to all who post on these threads. About eight months until high school football!!

  19. Dan says:

As bittersweet as it was, the entire season was memorable. I was fortunate enough to see my son play out out his high school career. He was a three year starter and had a ton of accolades, but the thing that made me most proud was all the hard work he put into the game he loves. He was surrounded by good coaches and great teammates. These are memories that will last forever. Fortunately, it looks like he will get at least 4 more years to make some memories as he moves on to the next level. In the world of sports, is there anything better than high school football? In my opinion, the answer is no.

  20. Dave Schwartz says:

It’s hard to choose since I’m from Garnet Valley and can only watch other teams during the playoffs, but the Ridley-Spring Ford game was quite memorable.

  21. Brock Steppe says:

I am a senior of South Williamsport High School, I played football for the Mounties since 10th grade and we have come along way. My favorite moment was beating Bloomsburg 34-16 in the first round of District 4 Playoffs, our first postseason win since 1997.

  22. nick friel says:

watching spring-ford my old squad go to the district 1 final and put us on the map
