  1. Buddy says:

Good question from Redwolf. As of now, Garnet Valley is in, could change the last week. Do they put #1 & #4 seed in the same bracket, and #2 & #3 in the other bracket? Talkin’ District one playoff here.

  2. Redwolf says:

District 1 Bonus Points – the site says bonus points are awarded “… for every win that team has on its schedule before and after you defeat them.” Kyle Berger tweeted that the playoff game between St. Joe’s Prep and Roman could give North Penn bonus points. Is this true? Even though the SJP-Roman game is a playoff and not “on the schedule?”

  3. Kmac says:

    For Erdman
At least in District One there is a nine-step procedure for breaking ties at final season standings. Too complex to write it all here, but step nine if it goes that far is a coin toss! The first tie breaker is winner if played head-to-head during the season. Then its won-loss-tie records of common opponents with points and it goes on and on. Its on the PIAA District One website.

  4. Lew says:

District 1 is still based on week 8. When will it be updated with week 9 Results included?

  5. Gerry says:

    will garnet valley make it????

  6. Dave says:

The District 1 link still has week 8 standings.

  7. Alex says:

Will Jim Thorpe make District playoffs?

  8. David Mika says:

District 1 will release their rankings later today.

  9. MomWow says:

OJRoberts just beat Boyertown this weekend 10/29. Why haven’t the rankings changed?

  10. Erdman says:

What happens if two teams in the same district finish out the regular season, tied with the same amount of points. What happens with playoffs?

  11. Dave Carty says:

Boyertown moved to District 1 in 2002 when they joined the Pioneer Athletic Conference. The Bears have difficulty making the playoffs because the PAC 10 has alot of smaller schools. Boyertown only recieved 80, 60, or even 40 points (St. Pius X) for wins. This year, the league has the largests enrollments ever, with 5 AAAA and 5 AAA schools. Boyertown did make the playoffs in 2006, losing in the first round to Downingtown West 35-6.

  12. Boobie says:

    Calvary Christian Cougars
    Soldiers of God!

  13. Buddy says:

now that was quick, so shame on me. I never noticed them ( Boyertown) before in the 16 team district one playoff picture, and I’m pretty sure they had teams good enough to qualify. If it’s true, I say welcome.

  14. Jeremy Varner says:

Yes Boyertown is a D1 Class AAAA School

  15. Buddy says:

Why does it take so long to get a comment posted?

  16. Buddy says:

Are you sure Boyertown is in the District one playoff scenario? They are located in District 3 I believe. Is this a first?

  17. David says:

    District 1 is updated.

  18. Joe Price says:

    District 1 is last week’s
