12th Annual Gregory Hennigar Memorial Football Tournament

The Gregory Hennigar Memorial Football Tournament was started in 2003 in honor of the former Father Judge and Penn State quarterback.  The Gregory Hennigar Memorial fund is a 501(c)3 established with the goal to promote youth advancement in education and sports. Over the last 11 years the funds raised from the tournament has offered tuition assistance to many local families and student athletes in need, provided education and instruction for football, donated to the Philadelphia Department of Recreation and made contributions to various charities including The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and the American Diabetes Association.

 

Date:                         Saturday June 28, 2014

Registration:            8:00 AM

Cost:                         $200 per team

Location:            James J. Ramp Athletic Field Complex

                        3301 Solly Avenue

                        Philadelphia, PA 19136

(across from Father Judge High School)

 

Format:             7 on 7 High School Team Passing Tournament

• 4 Divisions of 4 Teams (16 total)
• Divisions will be based on PIAA Classification
• Games will be 25 minutes each
• Each team will play minimum of 4 Games
• All games officiated by PIAA referees

 

Prizes:                       

1^st place – $700 store credit to Lloyd Sixsmith Sporting Goods

2^nd place – $300 store credit to Lloyd Sixsmith Sporting Goods
