District 3 Talk Week 6

Conrad Weiser

Conrad Weiser jumped out to a 28-7 lead at halftime and went on to a 47-26 win over Daniel Boone. With the win by Weiser they knocked Daniel Boone out of first place in Section 1 of the Inter-County League.

DJ Robinson rushed for 278 yards and five touchdowns. He had scoring runs of 47, 2,16 and 64 yards. He caught a touchdown pass for 79 yards.

Conrad Weiser had 350 yards rushing on 43 carries and 504 total yards.

Conrad Weiser (4-2) travels to Muhlenberg.

Trinity

Trinity started slowly and for three quarters East Pennsboro hung around. Trinity would pull away late and win 41-26.

Blake Wheeler had 144 yards receiving on five catches. He also ran for 40 yards.

Trinity (5-1) hosts Middletown Area.

South Western

South Western shut out Spring Grove 21-0. With the win their record moves to 6-0 and 3-0 in the YAIAA Division 1 league.

South Western’s defense allowed only 120 yards of total offense.

Levi Sager scored three touchdowns, 10-yard run, 65-yard punt return and he caught a 5-yard pass from Ian Smith.

South Western (6-0) hosts Red Lion Area.

Steelton-Highspire

Running back Clayton McNair opened the game with a 70-yard scoring run. Steelton-Highspire would beat Middletown Area 33-21.

McNair rushed for 155 yards on 18 carries and two touchdowns.

Sophomore quarterback Max Ward completed 12 of 15 passes for 216 yards and three touchdowns.

The Rollers had 433 total yards of offense.
