I also went to the La Salle vs. Prep game. Great game. La Salle's defense really stepped up their game after allowing a quick 17 points. Linebacker #30 (Palermo) played out of his mind, and completely set the tempo for the second half with two tackles for loss to start the third quarter.
Hey Bob, so a class A team that loses to a top 10 AA team should drop a lot in their own class? Not sure I understand your reasoning there. SCA would beat pretty much all the other class A teams, with the exception of Dunmore and Clairton out west. We may have a matchup with Dunmore in first round of states and possibly in hershey with clairton. I think SCA being ranked 2 in class A is okay at this point.

Strath Haven answered the call against Josh's #10 Springfield. We all thought Springfield was going to be good, but Haven did well with the run and defense closed them down.

Congrats to Garent Valley on CL title, they deserve it.

Freshman Jordan Gray of Nazareth without a doubt. He had nearly 250 yards rushing and put the Blue Eagles in the driver's seat for the LVC Title and D11 4A #1 seed. He has stepped in for Nazareth's all time leading rusher, Chuck Dibilio (who is now at Princeton) and has done a fine job. Teaming up with talented QB Daniel Harding, the Blue Eagles are the surprise of D11.

Hats off to Berwick who really turned their season around with a 26-21 win over Wilkes-Barre Coughlin. They're 6-3 now with playoff chances getting better by the week. The way they started, it would not have surprised me if Berwick's coach was fired. Bright spot for Coughlin...that Parsnik kid with another nice day 20ca-158yds & 3 TD.
