Week 8: EasternPAFootball’s Top 20 High School Football rankings

With our number one team in Class AAAA Central Dauphin dropping a close game against Cumberland Valley 24-21, we have a new number one. Wilson moves into that spot after defeating Manheim Township, 48-27. Moving into our top five is Dowingtown East out of District One who defeated Bishop Shanahan, 34-2. For the first time ever we have both Downingtown schools in our top five rankings. West defeated Henderson, 38-14.

In AAA, Malvern Prep drops out of our top five and Bishop McDevitt moves into number four. They defeated East Pennsboro, 48-13. No changes in the top three, Imhotep Charter, Archbishop Wood and Bethlehem Catholic all won big over the weekend.

Loyalsock drops out of our AA rankings after losing a close game to Shikellamy, 16-14. Southern Columbia remains number one and Berks Catholic, Wyomissing and Lake-Lehman all move up one spot. Moving into the fifth spot is Notre Dame out of District 11. A year ago this team was 0-8 and now 8-0 in 2015. Next week they have their eyes set on undefeated Saucon Valley. This is a battle for the Colonial League with the title on the line.

No changes in Class A. Camp Hill, Old Forge, Tri-Valley, Wellsboro and Delco Christian School all won.
