Week 3 Preview: Lakeland (2-0) at Wilkes-Barre GAR (2-0)

Friday, September 17, 2010 at 7 p.m.

The rematch of last year’s District II Class AA Championship contest between the Chiefs and the Grenadiers that saw Lakeland take home the title by a count of 26-21 at Wilkes-Barre Memorial Stadium.

Lakeland enters the game coming off of two impressive victories which saw the Chiefs average 34.5 and allow 14 points per contest. In week one, GAR’s Kurtis Thomas ran for four scores in their opening win against Mid Valley. The Grenadiers have won three straight at home and the Chiefs have been victorious in eight of their past nine road contests.
