Week 11: EasternPAFootball’s Top 20 High School Football rankings

The 2015-2016 edition of the EasternPAFootball.com Rankings consist of teams from Districts 1, 2, 3, 4, 11, 12 and Independent teams.

District playoffs are here and we will start with Class AAAA rankings. There are no changes in our top five list. Leading the way is our number one team, Wilson. They defeated Harrisburg 56-6. St. Joseph’s Prep out of District 12 defeated Roman Catholic 49-13. The two District one teams in our area both won. Upper Dublin won 35-3 against Garnet Valley and Downingtown East came back to defeat Plymouth-Whitemarsh, 35-28.

In Class AAA our top team, Imhotep Charter had no trouble defeating Dobbins 70-0. The same goes for our number two team in our rankings Archbishop Wood. They had no problem with Archbishop Carroll, 49-6. Bishop McDevitt defeated Milton Hershey 20-0 and Saucon Valley out of the Colonial League defeated Bethlehem Catholic 14-6 to advance in the District 11 Class 3A final. New in our top five list is Haverford School. They finished the season 10-0 and won their last game against Episcopal Academy, 21-0.

There are two remaining teams that are undefeated in Class AA in Eastern PA and both won their first round of games in Districts. Southern Columbia won against Troy 42-22 and Wyomissing had an easy time against Hamburg, 42-6. Berks Catholic defeated Annville-Cleona 61-14 to get one step closer for a rematch against Wyomissing. A pair of District two teams look strong last weekend. Dunmore defeated Northwest Area 41-20 and Lake-Lehman defeated Lakeland 35-8.

Old Forge, the number one team in Class A, pitched a shutout against Susquehanna Community 21-0. Camp Hill had a bye this week and is gearing up to play Millersburg. Delaware County Christian School out of District one won 32-14 against Calvary Christian Academy. Tri-Valley won 36-12 against Williams Valley and Wellsboro out of District four shut out Muncy 14-0.
