STATE FARM® FRIDAY NIGHT FEATS VIDEO CONTEST

CLOSES FIRST HALF WITH HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL’S BIGGEST MOMENTS

Twenty Five Schools Earn $2,500 and Nomination to be Finalists for $15,000 Grand Prize

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. (October 20, 2009) — State Farm® today announced the first half winners of Friday Night Feats, a national video contest on YouTube highlighting the biggest moments from this year’s high school football season. Twenty five winners from around the country were awarded $2,500 for their respective schools and now have a chance at the $15,000 grand prize.

“During the first half of Friday Night Feats we’ve seen the kind of big moments that exemplify the excitement of high school football,” said Anthony Munoz, Hall of Famer and former pro football lineman. “As teams increase their intensity in the drive toward championships, we expect to see even bigger plays in the second half of Friday Night Feats. State Farm is excited to be there as a part of these communities awarding a total as much as $160,000 for their big moments on the gridiron this year.”

The videos that win $2,500 and advance to become “Finalist Nominees” of the fan-fueled football contest were determined by fan votes on YouTube during the first half of the contest from Sept. 14 through Oct. 17.

Fans, athletes and coaches still have a chance to show off their big plays by entering a video during second half of the contest which runs from Oct. 18 until Nov. 22. Anyone can submit videos to the State Farm Friday Night Feats YouTube site, www.youtube.com/fridaynightfeats, to be considered as the best Friday night feat of the 2009 high school football season. Please note that plays submitted in the first half are not eligible in the second half. Any play that occurred in the 2009 high school football season from any month is eligible for the second half as long as it was not submitted in the first half of the contest.

At the end of the second half – Nov. 22 – a panel of qualified judges will narrow the field down to the top 10 videos from all the Finalist Nominees based on the “wow” factor, athleticism, impact of the play, and creativity of the video, which will include a title and brief description of the play. Viewers have the final word on choosing the grand, the first and the second prize winners by voting for their favorite on YouTube Dec. 3 until Dec.10. The winners will be announced on Dec. 14. Cash prizes for the top videos are $15,000 for the grand prize, $10,000 for first place and $5,000 for second place.
