i think that you might be surprised at 2 mahanoy area players one mike gavel qb/rb and so austin forte

  2. Huck says:

    To Doug Smith:

Dave Williams has a chance to be the best back in SE PA regardless of class. The sky is the limit!

  3. Andy Scott says:

Tim Wade will won’t come close to Rahman contribution to Lasalle. What are you smoking. Wade isn’t a legitimate top running threat. stop dreaming. Your in denial! There will be no eggs.

  4. steve vanderslice says:

hey whitey lets check back at the end of the season and see who has egg on his face .

  5. pat judge says:

best linebacker in the state of pa

  6. Dog21 says:

Desmon Peoples is a stud. If he stays healthy he will have 1800-2100 yds this season behind Wood’s line..

  7. eastbetterthanwest says:

Northpenn Guy just a fact for you to consider I too was at that game between North Penn and East and NP was the better TEAM. Using your logic I could make the argument that kneedhammer was better than Harris, Which would be baloney.North Penn ran through East all night and Harris was hurt for that game thats a FACT.Kid plays through pain and still scored what 3 times? Lets see how good NP would be if they split their school ok? To John Barr West has nothing but hopes and dreams at this point. Unless they get better coaching they are an after thought.

drew harris has 13 offers add syracuse

  9. big man says:

an he is 1#on this list.wake up people!!!!!

  10. big man says:

drew harris has 12 offers all from D-1 thats all that needs to be said at this time . u all need to take your head out of the sand.you will be watching him on sat an sun in a few years you need to stop hating !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

  11. North Penn guy says:

    Big man,
I agree with John Bar! Drew Harris isn’t special at all. He looked below average against my Knights last year. He didn’t catch the ball out of the back field well and he didn’t appear elusive or powerful. I never saw R.Shell up close. I would have to say that Desmon Peoples is the better complete RB from what i observed over two seasons. He can score from anywhere on the field, has good hands and he has been valuable in the return game during his high school career. The best player do multiple things in high school to help there team win.

  12. Doug Smith says:

    About these players.

    1)James Middleton – Easton Area 5-9 170
    2)Brandon Peoples – Archbishop Wood 5-10 170
    3)Jalen Randolph – Ridley 6-0 195
    4)Javon White – Souderton Area 5-11 180

  13. John Barr WESTSIDE says:

Big Man! what are you the kids parent, coach or street agent? I think everyone would like to see all of the players go on and be successful. Right now we are talking about best RB in the state and I don’t agree with you!
    R.Shell, D.Peoples, D.Harris
are all fantastic players! some kids are a bit more versatile then some others. The more you can do the more marketable you are to a pro scout, but that’s way off for all of these kids!

  14. big man says:

drew harris has ten D-1 offers the best in the state number 4 in nation . an privite school dont make football better all that is a high school draft.he is 6’1 204 ill take it every time.he is a D-1 back an a pro back an you know what time will tell.ill be back in 4yr telling all the haters i told you so.

  15. EASTBETTERTHANWEST says:

Drew Harris easily the best in the whole state and that includes Shell who plays in pop warner level football.

  16. Lou Smith says:

Desmond Peoples is a nice shifty “little guy” Drew Harris is the type of kid who you build programs around. Drew will be a D1 every down back, Desmond will be a slot receiver or special teamer.

  17. Whitey says:

Tim Wade! That’s a joke right!! He’s a division 3 player at best. and I could name 20 others in southeastern PA. that are much better than him. He’s probably a great kid but doesn’t belong on anyone’s list.

  18. Harold PCL says:

Desmon Peoples is the best back in PA. watch film check the level of competition he played against at prep and wood! He’s quick fast and powerful. He also breaks numerous tackles. He’s the ultimate play maker in any offense. The kid never get’s shut down and I cant say that about the others. Peoples doesn’t need 35-40 carries to get it done.

  19. JC3000 says:

Are you kidding me with the Nosovitch as a RB comment? Not you can’t include him in a RB conversation. He’s not a RB!! Do you really think he’s a top RB? That’s embarrassing. I know the kid is good but seriously…stop it.

  20. steve says:

TIM WADE FROM LASALLE . HE CAN RUNS BETWEEN THE TACKLES LIKE NO OTHER . NO BACK CAN BLOCK LIKE HIM , HE SPENT 2 YEARS BLOCKING FOR RAHMAN AND FILLED IN AT TAILBACK WHEN RAHMAN WAS INJURED . HE CAN CATCH LIKE A WIDE OUT HE IS THE ULTIMATE TRIPLE THREAT ! AN OFFENSIVE COORDINATORS DREAM . IF USED CORRECTLY THIS YEAR HE WILL HAVE A MONSTER YEAR .

  21. Jay Mazzerle says:

Even though he isn’t a RB, you can include Brendan Nosovitch from Allentown CC… even as a QB his rushing numbers are on par with the top RBs in the state.

  22. Mike says:

Daiqwon Buckley-Dunmore Bucks.. Freshman running back who ran for 1,134 yards.

  23. Ed says:

    Brandon Peoples – Archbishop Wood 5-10 175

As a junior he carried the the ball 138 times for 1,113 yards with 13 TD’s.

  24. Doug Smith says:

How about Jr. David Williams – West Catholic
In 13 games he rushed 100 times for 924 yards and 17 TD’s. He averaged 9.2 yards per carry.
