Talking California and Texas high school football on the August 15th edition of High School Football America. Host Jeff Fisher talks with Gary Joseph, head coach of Katy High School in Texas. Katy is Texas’ defending Class 5A Division II champs and the Tigers are ranked #7 in High School Football America’s Preseason Top 25. Also joining Fisher on the show is Jaime Ortiz, head coach at San Clemente High School in Southern California. Ortiz talks about his program that has more than two dozen former players at the collegiate level this year, including two NCAA Division 1 starting quarterbacks – Chase Rettig at Boston College and Travis Wilson at Utah. Fisher’s final guest is Derrick Oien of ScoreStream.com, which will be helping highschoolfootballamerica.comwith its scores in various states around the country this fall.
