Delaware High School Football Recaps for 9-20 and 9-21

9-21-19

2 touchdowns of 33 and 10 yards by Isaiah Brown along with a 31 yard pass to Brandon Hickey, Hickey who also scored on a 4 yard run paced the Hillers of Tower Hill to a 30-7 win over the Vikings of St. Elizabeth.

Terrance Trapp’s 2 passes of 64 and 18 yards from qb Nyaire Wilson paced the Hawks of St. Georges to a 49-12 win over the Delcastle Cougars.

Kaleb Glynn had two rushing TD’s. of 2 and 1 yards each,  Ja’Teir Berkley-Osborne had two receiving TD’s paced Conrad School of Science to a 36-16 win over First State Military Academy.

 

9-20-19

2 Te:Kwon Dennard 10 carries 237 yards 2 TD along with Jaylin Warner 12 carries  129 yards 2 TD paced the Delmar Wildcats to a 40-27 win over Queen Anne’s of MD.

JaQuai Bishop’s 4 touchdown runs of 3, 24, 47 and 3 yards each paced the Tigers of AI DuPont to a 35-26 win over the Indians of Indian River.

Henry DiAmbrogi’s 2 touchdown run of 1 yard each along with a 29 yard pass to Davonte Johnson paced the Cape Henlopen Vikings to a 28-14 win over the Milford Buccaneers.

Junior quarterback and free safety, Keith Webb, accounted for three touchdowns in the Highlanders 20-6 victory over Glasgow.  Webb threw touchdown pass of 55 and 35 yards to Aaron Lewis and Tahzir Emmens-Grant respecitely.  Webb finished off the scoring with a 47 yard interception return in the second quarter.  Cornerback John Bell had a key interception.  Linebacker Chris Orsetti forced a fumble and had an interception

Christiana 45 Dickinson 0-Zaid Barnes 5 touchdown passes of 20, 2 touchdown passes of 30, 40 yards along with a 70 yard punt return.

St. Marks 27 Charter 7-Jack LaFrankie 4 and 58 yards for St. Marks along with Jeremiah Moore’s 19 yard touchdown run.

Smyrna 20 Sussex Central 7:  Wayne Knight scored on a 3 yard run and threw an 18 yard pass to Mekhi Jackson.

St. Andrews 40 Seaford 0 – Adrian Watts completed 8 of 12 passes for 222 yards and 2 TDs, rushed 9 times for 82 yards and 2 TDs, and caught 3 passes for 29 yards and 1 TD. Mike Lilley threw for 87 yards and 2 TDs. Lamar Duncan led all receivers with 7 catches for 156 yards and 1 TD.

For the first time in history of Delaware Military Academy, the Seahawks played its first ever home game on campus in Fusco Memorial Stadium. as tailback Devon Green had 20 carries for 128 yards and 3 TD’s scored the first touchdown in the new stadium on a 14 yard run,  Jordan Green led the DMA receivers with 6 catches for 72 yards and a TD.  Cody House added a 14 yard TD.  QBs, Joe Deal and Miles Harding combined for 110 yards and 2 TDs. Joe Eyiolowope converted all 6 of his extra point attempts while capping off an impressive week as he scored the first Soccer goal and first extra point in Fusco Stadium as they defeated Red Lion Christian 42-14. 

Archmere 35 Tatnall 8-Tom Carney threw for 221 yards on 13 completions.  He also rushed for 60 yards on 11 carries. Matt DiGregorio had 4 receptions for 103 yards and rushed for 2 TDs. Michael Mallamaci had 60 yards rushing on 13 carries and 2 TDs. James Pinto had 3 receptions for 74 yards. On defense, Matt McDougal, Kevin DiGregorio and Mike Kelly each had 7 unassisted tackles.  Sanjay Long had an outstanding game setting the edge with 3 unassisted tackles and 3 passes defended.
