Bermudian Springs Shocks undefeated Delone Catholic with 22-0 Victory

Delone Catholic recieved the opening kickoff and started its first drive from its own 32 yard line.  Delone drove the ball to the 49 and had to punt.  Bermudian Springs drove the ball to the Delone 40 on their first drive but also had to punt.  Delone started their next drive from their 22 and only managed to get the ball to the  27 yard line and had to punt. 

Bermudian started its next drive from its 37 yardline.  On the drive Bermudian scored on a 11 yard TD pass.  Senior quarterback  Jordan Selfe completed the 11 yard TD pass to Senior receiver Jacob Stimer giving Bermudian a 7-0 lead. 

Delone tried to get something started itʼs next possession from its 27 yardline and drove the ball to the Bermudian 38  They went for it on 4th down but did not convert giving the ball back to the Eagles. 

Bermudian Springs wasteded no time gaining momentum agaain.  The Eagles scored on their next possession on a 26 yard field goal by Senior Kicker Eric Caldwell making the score 10-0 Eagles. 

On Delone’s next drive, Junior Dustin Reed had a great run but it was negated by a penalty.  Delone just missed another big play on a pass when Jacob Stimer knocked the pass out of the hands of Senior TE Allen Neidererʼs hands.  The score at the half was 10-0 Eagles. 

The Eagles scored on their first possession of the 2nd half when Selfe completed a TD pass to Senior RB Adam Stroup.  The extra point was no good making the score 16-0 Eagles. 

On the kickoff Reed had a great return for Delone.  Delone drove the ball all the way to Bermudian seven yard line but lost the ball on a fumble by Senior QB Noah Landi that was recovered by Bermudian Springs Junior, defensive tackle Jeff Racine. 

Bermudian took advantage of the opportunity by scoring on a 10 yard TD run by Senior RB Preston Green.  Greenʼs 25 yard run set up the touchdown.  Bermudian attempted a 2pt conversion but failed to convert. 

On the following drive Delone once again drove the ball all the way to the Bermudian 7 but Landi fumbled the ball away.  Delone Catholic got another chance when Bermudian was forced to punt the ball back to Delone on its next possession. 

When Delone got the ball back they drove the ball deep into Bermudian territory again.  Landi came through on fourth down completing a pass to give Delone a chance to score but the drive came to an end when Landi was intercepted by Preston Green sealing the deal for the Eagles.  The final score was 22-0.
