Coaches comments:

How’s your offensive line look?

“We have returning offensive tackle Jacob Moll and at center Neil Oswalt. At offensive guard we have Blake Roberts and T.J. Romoho back. We have our tight end back. His name is Austin Bashore.

Is your quarterback returning? Who is he?

“Joey Cominsky is returning at quarterback. He got hurt at the beginning of last year. He started his sophomore season. Nick Kuhn is back. He was our starting quarterback when Joey got hurt.

How about your running backs?

“We have Joey Raffensperger and Montay Berger back. We also have back Robby Henne.

How about your receivers?

“We have Cody Miller back at receiver along with our tight end Austin Bashore. Aaron Nelson should get some playing time.

How’s your defensive line look?

“We have returning Josh Kisha, Austin Bashore and Pat Barter.

How do your linebackers look?

We have returning at linebacker Blake Roberts, Cody Miller and Joey Raffensperger. Ian Hamilton started four games at linebacker, he’s back.

How does your secondary look?

We have back Robby Henne at cornerback. Montay Berger will be the other cornerback. Joey Cominsky at safety.

“We have a lot of experience coming back on both sides of the ball. We need to stay healthy. We need to improve on the little things like, tackling and ball security. We need our players to give four quarters of effort and players to be ready before the game and finish hard.”

“On offense last year we ran more, because we had a young quarterback playing when Joey went down. His sophomore year he threw for about 1,500 yards. We will be able to mix it up.”
