2019 Delaware High School Football Recaps for 9-13-14-2019

9-14-19-Anthony Selby’s 1 yard touchdown run along with a 23 yard pass to David Dunston paced the William Penn Colonials to a 27-6 win over the Vikings of Cape Henlopen.

Tom Carney was 10-14 passing for 188 yards and 4 TDs along with Matt DiGregorio rushed 9 times for 64 yards and had 2 catches for 83 yards and 2 TDs. James Pinto had 2 catches for 44 yards and a TD for the Auks of Archmere as they defeated the Red Wolves of Conrad 28-14

Isaiah Brown’s 3 touchdown runs of 12, 48 and 3 yards paced the Hillers of Tower Hill to a 34-10 win over the Charter School of Wilmington.

Nick Harkins 3 touchdown passes of 77, 60 yards to James Collins (Collins also ran a 85 yard kickoff return for a touchdown) and 62 yards to Devon Jones paced the Green Knights of Mt. Pleasant to a 41-8 win over the Newark Yellowjackets.

1 touchdown each by Cole, Anthony Dixon and Sam Gise along with a Pat McKenzie blocked punt for a touchdown paced the Quakers of Wilmington Friends to a 28-0 over Sidwell Friends of Washington DC.

9-13-19-Donald Solomon’s 4 yard touchdown run, Colin Pargoe’s 15 yard pass to Brandon Anderson, 2 passes of 78 yards and 38 yards to Johnny Purnell paced the Lions of Red Lion Christian to a 32-6 win over the Cardinals of St. Andrews.

2 running touchdowns by Jordan Henry of 11 and 52 yards along with a reception for 26 yards from qb Ryan Von Brant who also threw a 45 yarder to Antonio Alverez paced the Jags of Appoquinimink to a 40-0 win over the Cougars of Delcastle.

Kevin Custis 2 touchdown runs of 2 and 4 yards each, along with 11 yards by Ricky Kane, Jalen Snead and Andrell Fulton paced the Ravens of Sussex Tech to a 35-6 win over the Coolidge High School.

Nykii Brown’s 2 touchdown passes of 72 to Naz’aire Miller and 39 to Seg’jier Lane paced the Tigers of AI DuPont to a 14-6 win over the Vikings of Christiana.

The McKean defense kept the Rams out of the endzone, and Keith Webb threw for 286 yds and 5 touchdowns to lead the Highlanders to a 42-0 win over Dickinson. Aaron Lewis had 2 catches for 116 yards and 2 touchdowns. Lewis added another touchdown on a 50 yd punt return in the third quarter. Tahzir Emmens-Grant made 3 catches for 74 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Milford defeated Delaware Military Academy 26-17-Jabriah Luke 16 carries 155 yards 1 touchdown run of 50 yards, Marquis Gillis 18 carries for 118 yards, qb Shawn Saxon 2 touchdown runs of 1 and 2 yards.

Caravel defeats Caesar Rodney 25-21-Jakob Hoffman’s 33 yard pass to Jermaine Earl paced Caravel to the win.
