phoenixvilleHead Coach Evan Breisblatt   Q&A

Q. What are the key things we should know about your offense?

A. We run a spread, no huddle offense in which we try not to allow teams to be able to substitute players or allow them to change defenses.

If we can add depth to our team, we will be able to move at this fast pace thoroughout the game.

We love to run the football, so this misnomer about being a spread team that passes all the time is not the case. We want to run our core plays out of several different formations and always keep the defense guessing.

Anchoring the offensive line will be returning seniors Dave Rosati (6’0 275), Zach Gallow (6’2 230), and Jason Waltman (5’9 210).

Our QB will be (5’9 165) junior Ian Brown, who saw some time last year.

Our running backs will be seniors (5’10 150) Damien Davido and (5’11 185) Dylan Harris at H back.

At wide out, we will be led by junior Matt Palubinsky (6’3 200). Matt is our most dangerous weapon and will line up everywhere. Also, senior (6’0 170) Mike Ciaverelli will give us a sure handed receiver.

Q. What are the key things we should know about your defense

A. Defensively we look to mix it up some, with our fronts and coverages. We will play both an even and odd front, while mixing up blitz packages with man and zone packages.

Dave Rosati will be the man anchoring the defensive line. We look for all area-player Zach Gallow to lead the defense from his middle linebacker spot.

Matt Palubinksy we think, will become the best strong safety in the league eventually. We strive to create turnovers and turn them into points.

Q. What are the key things we should know about your special teams? Who are your kick and punt returners? Who are your kicker and punter?

A. Matt Palubinsky and Damien Davido look to be the two returners and Dave Rosati will handle the kicking duties.
