Aaron Cabinaw, Senior OL, Lebanon – Cabinaw helped to pave the way for a Cedar offensive unit which averaged 336.9 yards (236.6 passing, 100.3 rushing) and 22.5 points per game, producing a pair of 800+-yard passers and a 480-yard rusher while scoring 33 total offensive touchdowns (18 passing, 15 rushing).

Aaron Loucks, Junior OL/LB, York Suburban – Loucks was one of the Trojans’ contributors up front who helped to pave the way for an offensive unit which averaged 346 yards (284.1 rushing, 61.9 passing) and 29.7 points per game en route to a 6-4 record, producing three 460+-yard rushers and a 440-yard passer while scoring 39 total offensive touchdowns (32 rushing, seven passing).

Aaron Reese, Senior OL/DL, Chambersburg – A Pitt recruit, Reese helped to pave the way for a Trojan offensive unit which averaged 22.3 points per game, topping the 30-point plateau in four of 11 games and finishing 5-6 overall.

Aaron Swinton, Senior WR/DB, J.P. McCaskey – In limited action before missing the bulk of his junior season, Swinton posted 90 yards rushing on 26 carries and caught another 10 passes for 138 yards, averaging 3.5 yards per carry and 13.8 yards per reception while scoring two total touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving).

Adam Breneman, Senior TE, Cedar Cliff – A Penn State recruit, Breneman was ranked as the No. 1 tight end in the nation for the 2013 recruiting class by Scout.com at the time of his announcement that he would continue his collegiate career in Happy Valley.  The only tight end in the state with more than 60 receptions last season, Breneman hauled in a team-best 68 passes for 1,092 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 16.1 yards per reception.  Unfortunately, Breneman will miss his senior season for the Colts due to a torn ACL.

Adam Geiger, Senior RB/FS, Camp Hill Trinity – One of the important pieces of the Shamrocks’ 9-3 record and berth in the District 3 AA semifinals opposite Lancaster Catholic, Geiger ran for 1,112 yards on 127 carries and caught another 12 passes for 184 yards, averaging 8.8 yards per carry and 15.3 yards per reception while scoring 23 total touchdowns (20 rushing, three receiving).  He was just as impactful defensively, where he totaled 61 tackles (49 solo), eight sacks, an interception, four deflected passes, a forced fumble and four fumble recoveries, averaging 5.1 stops per game.

Adam Hess, Senior RB/FS, Penn Manor – A wrecker on the defensive side of the ball for the Comets, Hess chalked up 78 tackles (48 solo), three sacks, an interception, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, averaging 7.1 tackles per game.  He was also a factor offensively, notching 171 yards rushing on 25 carries and hauling in another 13 passes for 60 yards, averaging 6.8 yards per carry and 4.6 yards per reception.

Adam Huber, Senior QB/DB, Muhlenberg – Huber finished his junior season by connecting on 66-of-162 passes for 1,061 yards and 12 touchdowns against eight interceptions, piloting an aerial assault which averaged 116.6 yards per game for the Muhls.

Adam Sahd, Senior QB, Penn Manor – A dual-threat athlete at the helm of Penn Manor’s offensive arsenal, Sahd amassed 1,895 yards of total offense (1,207 passing, 688 rushing) and accounted for 17 total Comet touchdowns (nine rushing, eight passing), completing 106-of-199 passes (53.3 percent) and averaging 4.9 yards per carry on 138 rushes.  In his career for the Comets to date, Sahd has thrown for 2,513 yards and 20 touchdowns, and is on pace to throw for 3,769 yards in his career.

Adam Shoemaker, Senior TE/LB, ELCO – Shoemaker finished the season as one of the Raiders’ top tacklers, totaling 78 tackles and two sacks while averaging 7.8 tackles per game and posting consecutive games of 13 stops against Columbia and Camp Hill.  He also recorded 46 yards rushing on eight carries and caught 14 passes for 221 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 5.8 yards per carry and 15.8 yards per reception.

Adam Thiboldeaux, Senior DL, Lampeter-Strasburg – Thiboldeaux was part of a staunch Pioneer defensive unit which allowed an average of 11.4 points per game, limiting nine of 14 opponents to 14 points or less, with four shutouts, helping the team to a 12-2 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA championship game opposite Bishop McDevitt.

A.J. Hungerford, Junior FB/ILB, Red Lion – Hungerford finished his sophomore season by totaling 64 tackles (34 solo), a sack, two deflected passes, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, averaging 5.8 tackles per game for the Lions.

A.J. Sanderson, Senior OL, Warwick – Sanderson helped to pave the way for a Warrior offensive unit which averaged 290 yards (173.5 rushing, 116.5 passing) and 19.3 points per game, producing a 900-yard rusher and 770-yard passer while scoring 25 total offensive touchdowns (20 rushing, five passing).

Alec Miller, Senior QB/LB, Northeastern – One of the Bobcats’ returning linebackers, Miller chalked up 48 tackles (29 solo) and one sack, averaging 4.8 tackles per game while also adding 68 yards rushing on 11 carries and six receptions for 83 yards and one touchdown, averaging 6.2 yards per carry and 13.8 yards per reception.

Alec Werner, Senior QB, Bishop McDevitt – In his first full season as a varsity starting quarterback, Werner led the Crusaders to a 13-3 record, District 3 AAA championship and berth in the PIAA AAA finals opposite powerful Archbishop Wood.  He rewrote the school’s single-season passing benchmarks, completing 238-of-361 passes (65.9 percent) for 3,518 yards and 30 touchdowns against nine interceptions, throwing for 100+ yards in 15 of 16 games, including 10 games of 200+ yards.  He’s on pace to throw for more than 7,000 yards in his career, which would give McDevitt a pair of 7,000-yard passers in school history, a feat matched by just one other program – Wilson Area in District 11.

Alex Anzalone, Senior HB/CB, Wyomissing – A Notre Dame recruit, Anzalone was the No. 4 ranked outside linebacker in the nation in the 2013 recruiting class, and he was an important piece of a Wyomissing defensive unit which allowed an average of 10.9 points per game, limiting nine of 12 opponents to 14 points or less, with two shutouts.  Anzalone was also one of the featured running backs in the Spartans’ Wing-T offensive attack, rushing for 917 yards on 79 carries and hauling in another eight passes for 171 yards, averaging 11.6 yards per carry and 21.4 yards per reception while scoring 15 touchdowns.

Alex Cooley, Senior RB, Eastern York – One of District 3′s top statistical running backs from a season ago, Cooley scorched opposing defenses for 1,950 yards and 18 touchdowns on 242 carries, averaging 8.1 yards per carry.  In his career for the Golden Knights, Cooley has run for 3,154 yards and 37 touchdowns, and he enters 2012 as District 3′s second-active leading rusher, trailing Roman Clay of Lancaster Catholic, who has 3,443 career rushing yards.

Alex Cramer, Senior K, Camp Hill Trinity – Cramer converted 50 extra points and four field goals for the Shamrocks, scoring 62 of the team’s 428 points on the season, or 14.5 percent of the team’s season scoring output.

Alex Dundore, Senior WR/DB, Exeter Township – The Eagles’ featured wide receiver from a season ago, Dundore hauled in 25 passes for 532 yards and eight touchdowns, averaging 21.3 yards per reception and posting one 100-yard receiving performance against Upper Moreland.  He also contributed 27 tackles (25 solo) and six deflected passes on defense, and, on special teams, returned a combined 30 kickoffs/punts for 360 yards.

Alex Quinn, Senior OL/DL, Penn Manor – Quinn helped to pave the way for a Comet offensive unit which averaged (177.5 rushing, 109.7 passing) and 28.5 points per game, producing two 600-yard rushers and a 1,200-yard passer while scoring 36 total offensive touchdowns (28 rushing, eight passing).

Alex Woolley, Junior K, Manheim Township – Woolley finished his sophomore season by converting 37 extra points, one two-point conversion and one field goal for the Blue Streaks, scoring 42 of the team’s 371 points, or 11.3 percent of the team’s season scoring output.

Andre Robinson, Sophomore RB, Bishop McDevitt – One of three backs to surpass the 600-yard mark on the ground last season, Robinson ran for 847 yards on 114 carries and caught another 14 passes for 257 yards, averaging 7.4 yards per carry and 18.4 yards per reception while scoring 19 total touchdowns (16 rushing, three receiving).  He posted three 100+-yard rushing games and one game with 100+ receiving yards.

Andres Munoz, Junior OL/DL, Columbia – Munoz helped to pave the way for a Crimson Tide offensive unit which averaged 348.9 yards (178.9 passing, 170 rushing) and 28.6 points per game en route to a 7-6 record, District 3 A championship and berth in the PIAA A quarterfinals opposite Penns Manor, producing two 660+-yard rushers and a 1,600-yard passer while scoring 48 total offensive touchdowns (32 rushing, 16 passing).

Andrew Burgwin, Senior WR/DB, Central Dauphin – A fixture in the Rams’ defensive backfield, Burgwin totaled 43 tackles, an interception and six deflected passes, averaging 2.9 tackles per game for the PIAA AAAA champs.  He also returned a combined 16 kickoffs/punts for 243 yards, averaging 8.3 yards per punt return and 17.5 yards per kickoff return.

Andrew Combs, Senior RB/DB, Columbia – The Crimson Tide’s top returning rusher from a balanced offensive arsenal last season, Combs ran for 666 yards and 12 touchdowns on 117 carries and caught another 12 passes for 105 yards, averaging 5.7 yards per carry and 8.8 yards per reception.

Andrew Emrich, Senior OL/DL, Northern Lebanon – Emrich helped to pave the way for a Viking offensive arsenal which averaged 302.2 yards (230.1 rushing, 72.1 passing) and 24.8 points per game, producing two 770+-yard rushers and a 680-yard passer while scoring 33 total offensive touchdowns (24 rushing, nine passing).

Andrew Ford, Junior QB, Cedar Cliff – Ford shared the quarterback duties in Cedar Cliff’s offensive attack last season with senior Tyler Orris and amassed 1,532 yards of total offense (1,370 passing, 162 rushing) and had a hand in 16 total Colt touchdowns (12 passing, four rushing).  He completed 103-of-155 passes (66.5 percent) and averaged 3.8 yards per carry on 43 rushes.  He threw for a career-best 345 yards and five touchdowns against Exeter Township in the District 3 playoffs and is on pace to throw for more than 4,000 yards in his career.

Andrew Henry, Junior QB, Dallastown – A dual-threat quarterback at the helm of the Wildcats’ offensive arsenal, Henry amassed 1,492 yards of total offense (1,027 passing, 465 rushing) and accounted for eight total Dallastown touchdowns (four passing, four rushing), completing 93-of-182 passes (51.1 percent) and averaging 3.6 yards per carry on 131 rushes, throwing for 100+ yards in five games and running for 100+ yards once.  He’s on pace to throw for 3,081 yards in his career.

Andrew Nelson, Senior OL/DL, Hershey – A Penn State recruit, Nelson helped to pave the way for a Trojan offensive unit which averaged 309.6 yards (203.1 rushing, 106.5 passing) and 29 points per game en route to an 8-3 record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs opposite Red Land, producing a 1,000-yard passer and four 200+-yard rushers while scoring 36 total offensive touchdowns (28 rushing, eight passing).

Andrew Paterno, Senior OL/DL, Waynesboro – Paterno helped to pave the way for an Indian offensive unit which averaged 331.9 yards (222.1 rushing, 109.8 passing) and 23.5 points per game, producing a 1,500-yard rusher and 1,000-yard passer while scoring 31 total offensive touchdowns (27 rushing, four passing).  Defensively, he chipped in with 22 tackles (13 solo), a team-best five sacks, an interception and a fumble recovery, averaging 2.2 tackles per game.

Andrew Seiverling, Junior WR/DB, Manheim Central – Seiverling caught 21 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 9.8 yards per reception for the Barons as a sophomore.  He was one of five MC receivers with at least 17 receptions on the season.

Andrew Spanos, Senior WR/DB, Mechanicsburg – The Wildcats’ featured receiver last season, Spanos snagged a team-leading 36 passes for 735 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 20.4 yards per reception while posting four games with 100+ receiving yards.  Defensively, Spanos added 18 tackles (13 solo), two interceptions and a fumble recovery.  On special teams, he returned 19 kickoffs for 511 yards.

Anthony Brown, Senior TB/CB, Conestoga Valley – The Buckskins’ featured running back and one of Section 2′s top returning rushers, Brown finished his junior season by running for 1,444 yards on 249 carries and catching another 12 passes for 122 yards, averaging 5.8 yards per carry and 10.2 yards per reception while scoring 16 total touchdowns (15 rushing, one receiving).  Brown was also a force in the CV defensive backfield, where he tallied 17 tackles (12 solo), four interceptions and nine deflected passes.

Angel Cruz, Senior RB/DB, Conrad Weiser – The Scouts’ featured tailback and one of Berks County’s top returning rushers from 2011, Cruz tallied 1,526 yards on 199 carries and caught another 21 passes for 314 yards, averaging 7.7 yards per carry and 14.9 yards per reception while scoring 22 total touchdowns (18 rushing, two receiving, one fumble return, one interception return).  He posted a trio of 200-yard rushing performances.  Defensively, Cruz added 81 tackles (41 solo), a sack, an interception, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery, averaging 7.7 tackles per game.

Anthony Franklin, Senior WR/LB, West York Area – Franklin finished his junior season with 55 tackles and a half a sack for the District 3 AAA semifinalist Bulldogs, averaging 5.5 tackles per game while posting a season-best 14 stops in a narrow loss to Central York.

Anthony Pletz, Junior QB, Annville-Cleona – A transfer from ELCO, Pletz finished his sophomore season by connecting on 96-of-199 passes (48.4 percent) for 857 yards and six touchdowns and added another 88 yards rushing and one touchdown on 40 carries, averaging 2.2 yards per rush.  Pletz is on pace to throw for more than 2,500 yards in his career.

Austin Brinser, Junior DE, Elizabethtown – Brinser finished his sophomore season by tallying 32 tackles (21 solo), a team-leading three sacks, a deflected pass and a forced fumble, averaging 3.6 tackles per game for the Bears.  He totaled a career-best 10 tackles in a loss to Cocalico.

Austin Felts, Senior WR/DB, Bermudian Springs – A lightly-used commodity in the Eagles’ passing attack which averaged better than 85 yards per game last season, Felts hauled in five passes for 109 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 21.8 yards per reception.  He also recorded nine tackles on defense.

Austin Garner, Senior RB/LB, Manheim Central – A steady presence at linebacker for the Barons, Garner tallied 65 tackles, a half a sack, an interception and a fumble recovery, averaging 5.9 tackles per game while notching a pair of games with 10+ tackles.

Austin Haas, Senior WR/LB, Garden Spot – A multi-purpose weapon for the Spartans last season out of the backfield, Haas ran for 76 yards on 20 carries and caught another 19 passes for 133 yards, averaging 3.8 yards per carry and seven yards per reception while scoring four total touchdowns (two rushing, two receiving).  He also chipped in with seven tackles and one sack defensively.

Austin Hartzell, Junior OL/LB, Bermudian Springs – One of the Eagles’ top returning tacklers from its 2011 edition, Hartzell totaled 73 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, averaging 6.6 tackles per game.

Austin Scott, Senior QB/DB, Greencastle-Antrim – A dual-threat at the helm of the Blue Devils’ offensive arsenal last season, Scott racked up 695 yards of total offense (461 passing, 234 rushing) and had a hand in 10 total G-A touchdowns (six rushing, four passing), completing 35-of-57 passes (61.4 percent) and averaging 6.2 yards per carry on 38 rushes.

Austin Torres, Senior WR/DB, York Suburban – A returning presence in the Trojans’ defensive backfield, Torres posted 23 tackles (16 solo), three interceptions, three deflected passes and a blocked field goal, averaging 4.6 tackles per game.  He also ran for 255 yards on 21 carries and snagged another three passes for 114 yards, averaging 12.1 yards per carry and 38 yards per reception while scoring four total touchdowns (two rushing, two receiving).

Austin Weaver, Senior QB/FS, Upper Dauphin Area – A dual-threat athlete at the helm of the Trojans’ offensive unit last season, Weaver totaled 518 all-purpose yards of offense (295 rushing, 223 passing) and scored six total touchdowns (five rushing, one receiving), completing 28-of-66 passes (42.4 percent) and averaging 4.3 yards per carry on 68 rushes.  Defensively, Weaver chipped in with 24 tackles (12 solo), an interception, a deflected pass and a fumble recovery, averaging 2.4 tackles per game.

Austin Wilson, Senior QB/DB, East Pennsboro – A Syracuse recruit, Wilson connected on 122-of-222 passes (55 percent) for 1,996 yards and 20 touchdowns against 11 interceptions while posting eight 100+-yard passing games, including a season- and career-best 380 yards against Boiling Springs.  Wilson is on pace to throw for just under 4,000 yards in his career.

Barrett DeForge, Senior RB/LB, Conestoga Valley – DeForge proved a force at linebacker for the Buckskins in 2011, racking up 39 tackles (29 solo), two sacks, two interceptions, a deflected pass and two fumble recoveries, averaging 3.9 tackles per game.

Ben Fernback, Senior QB, Cumberland Valley – A dual-threat athlete piloting the helm of the Eagles’ Wing-T offense which averaged 32.2 points per game and reached the District 3 AAAA semifinals for the fourth consecutive season, Fernback amassed 1,163 yards of total offense (899 passing, 264 rushing) and accounted for 18 total CV touchdowns (nine passing, nine rushing), connecting on 62-of-125 passes (49.6 percent) and averaging 3.8 yards per carry on 70 rushes.

Ben Mosey, Junior RB/LB, Central Dauphin – One of the Rams’ top tacklers from a season ago, Mosey returns after a solid sophomore season of 104 tackles, two sacks and three fumble recoveries, averaging 6.5 tackles per game while posting a pair of 10+-tackle games against Carlisle and State College.  He also added 71 yards rushing and one touchdown on 13 carries, averaging 5.5 yards per carry.

Ben Weaver, Senior OL/DL, Garden Spot – Weaver helped to pave the way for a Spartan offensive unit which averaged 342.6 yards (182.9 rushing, 159.7 passing) and 27.9 points per game en route to a 7-4 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs, producing three 500-yard rushers and a 1,660-yard passer while scoring 45 total offensive touchdowns (29 passing, 16 rushing). Defensively, he added 38 tackles, a half a sack and a forced fumble, averaging 3.5 tackles per game.

Ben Wertz, Senior OL/DL, Wyomissing – One of the Spartans’ top returning linemen, Wertz helped to pave the way for a Spartan offensive unit which averaged (250.3 rushing, 95.8 passing) and 40.8 points per game en route to an 11-1 record and berth in the District 3 AA championship game opposite Lancaster Catholic, producing two 770+-yard rushers and an 1,100-yard passer.

Billy Richards, Senior OL/LB, Solanco – Richards finished his junior season for the Golden Mules by chalking up 66 tackles, a sack, two deflected passes and a fumble recovery, averaging 6.6 tackles per game while posting four games with 10+ tackles.

Bobby Mentzer, Senior RB/LB, Mechanicsburg – Mentzer posted 44 tackles and a sack for the Wildcats as a junior, averaging 4.9 tackles per game.

Bobby Nye, Junior RB/LB, Ephrata – Nye ranks as Ephrata’s leading returning tackler after posting 86 tackles, two deflected passes and two forced fumbles for the Mountaineers, averaging 8.6 tackles per game while recording six games with 10+ tackles.

Braheem Riley, Senior RB/DB, Northeastern – The No. 4 receiver for the Bobats last season, Riley hauled in six passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 24.5 yards per reception while posting a pair of 60-yard receiving performances.

Brandell Hmel, Senior OL/DL, Ephrata – Hmel helped to pave the way for a Mountaineer offensive attack which averaged 286.9 yards (162.3 rushing, 124.6 passing) and 17.4 points per game, producing a 1,200-yard passer and two 480+-yard rushers while scoring 25 total offensive touchdowns (17 rushing, eight passing).

Brandon Boger, Junior OL/DL, Annville-Cleona – Boger helped to pave the way for a Little Dutchmen offensive unit which averaged 234.4 yards (124 rushing, 110.4 passing) and 12.2 points per game, producing a 1,000-yard passer and 450-yard rusher while scoring 14 total offensive touchdowns (seven rushing, seven passing).

Brandon Gonzalez, Senior RB/DB, Wyomissing – Gonzalez was an important piece of a Wyomissing defensive unit which allowed an average of 10.9 points per game, limiting nine of 12 opponents to 14 points or less, with two shutouts.  He also ran for 115 yards on 15 carries, averaging 7.7 yards per carry while scoring three total touchdowns.

Brandon LaVia, Senior QB, Central Dauphin – LaVia helped lead Central Dauphin to 14 consecutive victories, including the school’s first-ever PIAA AAAA football championship, by completing 96-of-171 passes (56.1 percent) for 1,490 yards and 16 touchdowns against nine interceptions and adding another 164 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 50 carries, averaging 3.3 yards per rush and throwing for 100+ yards in seven of 14 games.  LaVia has thrown for 3,139 yards and 33 touchdowns in his Central Dauphin career and owns an overall record of 24-3 as a varsity starting quarterback.

Brandon Markle, Senior TE/DE, Bermudian Springs – Markle hauled in seven passes for 127 yards and a touchdown, averaging 18.1 yards per reception for the District 3 AA semifinalist Eagles.  The bulk of his season production came against York Catholic, where he caught three passes for 86 yards.

Brandon Naverio, Junior OL/DL, Conrad Weiser – Naverio finished his sophomore season with 36 tackles and a sack for the Scouts, averaging three tackles per game.

Brandon Stone, Senior RB, Penn Manor – The No. 2 rusher in Penn Manor’s offensive arsenal last season, Stone finished with 631 yards and 11 touchdowns on 125 carries and caught another six passes for 75 yards, averaging 5.1 yards per carry and 12.5 yards per reception.

Brandon Yurek, Senior WR/DB, Waynesboro – The only Indian receiver with 20 or more receptions last season, Yurek hauled in 26 passes for 357 yards and one touchdown, averaging 13.7 yards per reception while posting a season-best 119 yards in a narrow loss to Big Spring.

Brennan Scott, Senior QB, Manheim Township – One of the Lancaster-Lebanon League’s top returning field generals, Scott had quite the junior season, completing 153-of-256 passes for 2,480 yards and 29 touchdowns against four interceptions, throwing for 1,026 yards and 13 touchdowns in the Blue Streaks’ final three games of the season.  In his career to date, Scott, who is receiving Division-1 interest, has thrown for 4,610 yards and 46 touchdowns.

Brent Brossemer, Senior OL, Warwick – Brossemer helped to pave the way for a Warrior offensive unit which averaged 290 yards (173.5 rushing, 116.5 passing) and 19.3 points per game, producing a 900-yard rusher and 770-yard passer while scoring 25 total offensive touchdowns (20 rushing, five passing).

Brett Caggiano, Junior OLB, Penn Manor – Caggiano provided a steady presence at linebacker for the Comets last season, totaling 63 tackles (35 solo), two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery, averaging 5.7 tackles per game.

Brett Smith, Senior QB/S/P, Delone Catholic – One of Adams County’s top returning quarterbacks, Smith helped lead the Squires to a 9-2 record and berth in the District 3 AA quarterfinals opposite Trinity by connecting on 66-of-112 passes (58.9 percent) for 1,380 yards and 21 touchdowns against six interceptions while adding 60 yards rushing and three more touchdowns on 29 carries.  He threw for 100+ yards in six games, including a 228-yard, five-touchdown game in a victory over Littlestown.  Defensively, he added 48 tackles, an interception and four deflected passes.

Brian Beissel, Senior WR/DB, Exeter Township – A returning presence in the Eagle defensive secondary, Beissel tallied 35 tackles (32 solo), two interceptions (one returned for a touchdown), a deflected pass, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal, averaging 3.2 tackles per game.

Brian Lemelle, Senior WR, Bishop McDevitt – Lemelle, a surefire Division-1 prospect in the 2013 recruiting class at wide receiver, established new McDevitt records for receptions (93) and receiving yards (1,630) in his junior season, averaging 17.5 yards per reception and scoring 15 touchdowns while posting 12 games with five or more receptions and eight games with 100+ receiving yards.  In his career to date, Lemelle has snared 169 passes for 2,912 yards and 26 touchdowns.  Raki Nelson owns the career receiving yardage record, of 3,132 yards, for now.  But Lemelle should shatter that mark in 2012.

Brock Gosling, Senior QB, Cocalico – A dual-threat athlete at the helm of the Eagles’ Veer/triple-option offensive attack, Gosling amassed 765 yards of total offense (506 passing, 259 rushing) and accounted for seven total Cocalico touchdowns (four rushing, three passing), throwing for 100+ yards once and rushing for 100+ yards once as well.  Defensively, he added 19 tackles and an interception.

Brock Snellbaker, Senior RB/S, West York Area – The Bulldogs’ featured tailback and one of three 500+-yard rushers last season, Snellbaker rushed for 814 yards and seven touchdowns on 173 carries and caught another 10 passes for 76 yards, averaging 4.7 yards per carry and 7.6 yards per reception.  He also totaled 60 tackles (37 solo), 2.5 sacks, an interception, four deflected passes and a blocked punt, averaging five tackles per game.

Bryan Flory, Senior LB, Columbia – A Pennsylvania Sportswriters’ Class A All-State selection at linebacker, Flory was the Tide’s leader in tackles, with 131, and also added five sacks and two fumble recoveries for the District 3 A champions.  He averaged 10.1 tackles per game.

Bryan Kerr, Junior QB/OLB, Susquehannock – The Warriors’ primary field general in 2011, Kerr connected on 51-of-100 passes (51 percent) for 624 yards and five touchdowns against seven interceptions, throwing for 100+ yards four times.  He’s on pace to throw for more than 2,000 yards in his career.  Kerr also added one rushing touchdown on 41 keepers last year.

Bryan Pyle, Senior OL/DL, Hempfield – Pyle helped to pave the way for a Black Knight offensive unit which averaged 318.7 yards (230.3 rushing, 88.4 passing) and 23.4 points per game, producing a 1,400-yard rusher and 970-yard passer while scoring 33 total offensive touchdowns (29 rushing, four passing).

Calvin Philmore, Senior WR/DL, Twin Valley – The Raiders’ second-leading rusher in 2011, Philmore totaled 438 yards and three touchdowns on 105 carries, averaging 4.2 yards per rush.

Cameron Kline, Senior TE, Hempfield – Kline helped to pave the way for a Black Knight offensive unit which averaged 318.7 yards (230.3 rushing, 88.4 passing) and 23.4 points per game, producing a 1,400-yard rusher and 970-yard passer while scoring 33 total offensive touchdowns (29 rushing, four passing).

Cameron Strause, Junior RB/LB, ELCO – The Raiders’ top returning running back from 2011, Strause posted 551 yards on 112 carries and caught another nine passes for 68 yards, averaging 4.9 yards per carry and 7.6 yards per reception while scoring five total touchdowns (four rushing, one receiving) while completing two games with 120+ yards on the ground.

Camryn Rice, Junior WR/DB, Mechanicsburg – Rice saw a variety of ways to make an impact on the field as a sophomore, snagging 14 passes for 255 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 18.2 yards per reception.  Defensively, he added 29 tackles (21 solo), three interceptions and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.2 tackles per game.

Cary Hess, Senior OL/DL, Shippensburg – A potential collegiate prospect in the 2013 recruiting class along the offensive line, Hess helped to pave the way for a Greyhound offensive unit which averaged 314.9 yards (242.5 rushing, 72.4 passing) and 23.8 points per game en route to a 9-3 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA quarterfinals opposite Lampeter-Strasburg, producing two 570+-yard rushers and a 700-yard passer while scoring 31 total offensive touchdowns (24 rushing, seven passing).  Defensively, Hess added 39 tackles, four sacks and a blocked punt, averaging 3.5 tackles per game.

Casey Hartzell, Senior K/P, Central Dauphin – The Rams’ primary punter in 2011, Hartzell averaged 34.3 yards per punt on 42 kicks, with 14 of his punts (33.3 percent) downed inside the 20 yard line.  He also booted 39 kickoffs – five of which (12.8 percent) went for touchbacks.

Casey Kerschner, Junior TE, Cocalico – Kerschner was primarily a blocker in the Eagles’ Veer/triple-option offense, helping to pave the way for a ground game which averaged more than 230 yards and yielded a pair of 800-yard rushers.  But he also caught four passes for 100 yards, averaging 25 yards per reception, and registered 14 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble on defense.

Chad Kolper, Senior QB/LB, South Western – The Mustangs’ leader in sacks from a season ago, Kolper recorded 51 tackles (29 solo), six sacks, a deflected pass and a fumble recovery, averaging 6.4 tackles per game for the District 3 AAAA quarterfinalists.

Chandler Draughn, Senior WR/DB, York Suburban – Draughn collected 43 tackles (28 solo), a sack, an interception and four deflected passes, averaging 4.3 tackles per game for York Suburban in his junior season.

Charles Bell, Junior LB, Penn Manor – A transfer from Lancaster Catholic, Bell was part of a Crusader defensive unit which allowed an average of 13.5 points per game en route to the PIAA AA championship game and a 17-7 victory over Tyrone, limiting 12 of 16 opponents to 14 points or less, with one shutout.

Chase Shulda, Senior RB, East Pennsboro – The Panthers’ top returning rusher, Shulda finished his 2011 campaign with 362 yards and four touchdowns on 67 carries, averaging 5.4 yards per rush.  He also completed 2-of-2 passes for 77 yards.

Chris Curry, Senior TE/LB, Northeastern – Curry finished his junior season with 35 tackles and two sacks for the Bobcats, averaging 3.9 tackles per game.

Chris Kreider, Senior DL, ELCO – Kreider finished his junior season with 25 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.6 tackles per game for the Raiders.

Chris Lynn, Senior DL, Manheim Central

Chris McManama, Senior TE/DE, Bermudian Springs – One of the Eagles’ returning presences on the defensive line from a unit which allowed an average of X points per game, McManama posted 41 tackles, three sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.7 tackles per game.

Chris Stauch, Junior OL/LB, Hershey – Stauch recorded 27 tackles, one sack and a team-best four fumble recoveries, averaging 2.7 tackles per game for the Trojans.

Chris Warren, Junior RB/DB, Berks Catholic – The Saints’ leading scorer in 2011, the program’s first season of football, Warren ran for 467 yards on 66 carries and caught another nine passes for 173 yards, averaging 7.1 yards per carry and 19.2 yards per reception while scoring 10 total touchdowns.  He also added a two-point conversion, giving him 62 of the Saints’ 266 points scored on the season.

Christian Fetrow, Senior DEF, Red Land – The Patriots’ top returning tackler from a season ago, Fetrow notched 64 tackles, 1.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery, averaging 5.8 tackles per game for the District 3 AAA semifinalists.

Cody Erb, Senior OL/DL, Bermudian Springs – Erb helped to pave the way for a Bermudian Springs offensive unit which averaged 406.6 yards (319.3 rushing, 87.3 passing) and 36.4 points per game en route to an 11-1 record and berth in the District 3 AA semifinals opposite Wyomissing, producing a pair of 1,600-yard rushers and a 1,000-yard passer while scoring 64 total offensive touchdowns (55 rushing, nine passing).  Defensively, Erb posted 59 tackles and a half a sack, averaging 4.9 tackles per game.

Cole Profitt, Senior QB/WR/DB, Manheim Central – One of the Barons’ featured receivers in 2011, Profitt hauled in 18 passes for 316 yards and one touchdown, averaging 17.6 yards per reception.  Profitt, a state javelin medalist, is currently locked in a two-way battle for the starting quarterback job.

Colby Grant, Senior RB, Susquehanna Township – A potential collegiate prospect in the 2013 recruiting class, Grant ran for 675 yards on 75 carries and caught another 24 passes for 384 yards, averaging nine yards per carry and 16 yards per reception while scoring 13 total touchdowns (eight rushing, five receiving).

Colin Brewer, Senior OL/DL, Cocalico – Brewer helped to pave the way for an Eagle offensive unit which averaged 307.2 yards (234.2 rushing, 73 passing) and 21.5 points per game, producing two 800-yard rushers and a 500-yard passer while scoring 27 total offensive touchdowns (24 rushing, three passing).

Connor Keim, Sophomore RB/LB, Millersburg – Keim did the bulk of his damage defensively for the Indians last season, recording 59 tackles, two sacks and two fumble recoveries while averaging 5.4 tackles per game.  He posted a career-best 13 tackles against Williams Valley.

Connor Maloney, Senior K, Bishop McDevitt – Maloney converted 67 extra points and three field goals for the Crusaders, giving him 76 of the team’s 542 points scored in 2011, or 14 percent of the team’s season scoring output. 

Connor Tom, Senior K, Conrad Weiser – Tom handled the kickoff and placekicking chores for the Scouts last season, booting five of his 55 kickoffs (9.1 percent) for touchbacks and converting 34 extra points and two field goals, scoring 40 of the Scouts’ 308 points (12.9 percent) of the team’s season point output.

Corey Hardman, Senior OL/DL, Gettysburg – Hardman helped to pave the way for a Warrior offensive unit which averaged 265.5 yards (163.9 passing, 101.6 rushing) and 19.8 points per game, producing a 1,600-yard passer and 500-yard rusher while scoring 24 total offensive touchdowns (17 passing, seven rushing).  Defensively, Hardman added 38 tackles (33 solo) and a sack, averaging 4.2 tackles per game.

Corey Hartz, Senior QB/DB, Central York – A steady presence in the Panthers’ defensive backfield, Hartz finished his junior season with 34 tackles, four interceptions, a deflected pass, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, averaging 2.8 tackles per game.  He also saw some action offensively, amassing 316 all-purpose yards (135 rushing, 104 passing, 77 receiving) and accounting for four total Panther touchdowns (one rushing, one passing, one receiving, one interception return), completing 2-of-5 passes (40 percent) and averaging 16.9 yards per carry and 19.3 yards per reception.

Corey Unger, Senior QB, Fleetwood – Ruled ineligible by District 3 and the PIAA to play football in his senior season after an attempted transfer to Wyomissing, Unger gets an honorary nod to the list after surpassing the 4,000-yard mark in career passing during his junior season for the Tigers.  Unger, who completed 114-of-226 passes (50.4 percent) for 1,447 yards and nine touchdowns and added another 395 yards rushing and seven touchdowns on 78 carries, has thrown for 4,109 yards in his career.

Dalton Kern, Junior RB/LB, Cocalico – The Eagles’ leading returning tackler from a season ago, Kern registered 103 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries, averaging 10.3 tackles per game, posting a career-best 21 tackles in Cocalico’s victory against Lebanon and 16 tackles against Governor Mifflin in a narrow loss.

Dan Althoff, Senior WR/CB, Red Lion – A multi-purpose weapon for the Lions out of the backfield, Althoff ran for 224 yards on 55 carries and hauled in another 17 passes for 166 yards, averaging 4.1 yards per carry and 9.8 yards per reception while scoring three rushing touchdowns and posting one 100-yard rushing performance.  He chipped in with 19 tackles (13 solo) and eight deflected passes on defense.

Dan Hare, Senior QB/FS, Kennard-Dale – A dual-threat athlete at the helm of the Rams’ offensive arsenal last season, Hare amassed 779 yards of total offense (577 rushing, 202 passing) and accounted for 10 total Kennard-Dale touchdowns (nine rushing, one passing), completing 14-of-49 passes (28.6 percent) and averaging four yards per carry on 143 rushes while posting a trio of 100-yard rushing performances.  He was also a key component of the Rams’ defensive backfield, registering 52 tackles, four interceptions, two deflected passes, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal, averaging 5.8 tackles per game.

Daniel Adams, Senior TB/DB, Northeastern – A veteran presence returning to the Northeastern defensive backfield, Adams notched 49 tackles (32 solo), two interceptions and eight deflected passes, averaging 4.9 tackles per game.  He’s also the Bobcats’ leading returning rusher after posting 200 yards and one touchdown on 23 carries, averaging 8.7 yards per rush.

Danny Jackson, Senior WR/DB, Camp Hill Trinity – The Shamrocks’ top returning receiving target from a season ago, Jackson snagged 39 passes for 812 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 20.8 yards per reception while posting a season-best 181 yards and two touchdowns in a playoff victory over Delone Catholic.  Defensively, Jackson added 25 tackles (21 solo), four interceptions, 14 deflected passes, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery, averaging 2.1 tackles per game.

Darius Ramsey, Junior DL, Lebanon – Ramsey was part of a Cedar defensive unit which allowed an average of 30.4 points per game, limiting two of 10 opponents to 13 points or less.

Darnell Holland, Senior RB/DB, Bishop McDevitt – A returning two-way presence for the Crusaders, Holland ran for 637 yards and 11 touchdowns on 107 carries, averaging 5.9 yards per carry to go along with one 100-yard rushing performance.  Defensively, he added 55 tackles (31 solo) and four deflected passes for the Crusaders, averaging 3.4 tackles per game.

Darrell Kendrick, Senior RB/CB, Red Lion – Kendrick finished his junior season by running for 294 yards and four touchdowns on 39 carries and adding another three receptions for 27 yards, averaging 7.5 yards per carry and nine yards per reception.  He also returned five kickoffs for 125 yards.

Darrin Stover, Senior WR/DB, Red Land – One of the Patriots’ returning presences in the defensive backfield, Stover recorded 36 tackles (27 solo), three interceptions, a deflected pass and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.3 tackles per game for Red Land.

Daulton Parmer, Senior FL/DB, Penn Manor – Parmer proved an important offensive centerpiece for the Comets last season, hauling in a team-leading 57 receptions for 661 yards and six touchdowns and adding another 166 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 33 carries, averaging 11.6 yards per reception and five yards per carry.  He was also a critical force on defense for Penn Manor, where he totaled 39 tackles (25 solo), a team-leading seven interceptions and 10 deflected passes, averaging 3.5 tackles per game. 

Dawson Schlegel, Senior OL/LB, Millersburg – Schlegel had a monster junior season for Millersburg, racking up 99 tackles, a team-leading seven sacks, an interception, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, averaging nine tackles per game and finishing five games with 10+ stops, including a 16-tackle game against Tri-Valley.

Daylin Russo, Senior LB, Central Dauphin – One of the mid-state’s top returning linebackers, Russo tallied 125 tackles, five sacks, two deflected passes, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries, averaging 7.8 tackles per game with six games of 10+ tackles, including a pair of 13-tackle games against State College and Chambersburg.

Dereck Wilson, Senior WR, York-William Penn – The featured target in a Bearcat aerial assault which averaged better than 140 yards per game last year, Wilson hauled in 34 passes for 627 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 18.4 yards per reception while posting a pair of 100-yard receiving performances against McCaskey and Dover.

Derek Miller, Junior WR/DB, ELCO – One of two Raider receivers with 20 receptions or more at the end of the season, Miller hauled in 22 passes for 205 yards and a touchdown, averaging 9.3 yards per reception.  He also was a presence defensively, totaling 34 tackles, an interception and five deflected passes, averaging 3.4 tackles per game.

Derrick Stahl, Senior OL/DL, Northeastern – Stahl helped to pave the way for a Bobcat offensive unit which averaged 258.2 yards (135.5 rushing, 123.7 passing) and 21.5 points per game en route to a 6-5 record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs opposite West York Area, producing two 500-yard rushers and a 1,300-yard passer while scoring 33 total offensive touchdowns (18 rushing, 15 passing).  Defensively, Stahl added 63 tackles, two sacks and two fumble recoveries, averaging 5.7 stops per game.

Devon Ackerman, Senior OL/DL, South Western – Ackerman helped to pave the way for a Mustang offensive unit which averaged 324.3 yards (232.1 rushing, 92.2 passing) and 31.1 points per game en route to a 9-3 record and berth in the District 3 AAAA quarterfinals opposite Cumberland Valley, producing a pair of 1,000-yard rushers and a 1,000-yard passer while scoring 49 total offensive touchdowns (37 rushing, 12 passing).  Defensively, Ackerman added 46 tackles (24 solo), two sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.8 tackles per game.

Devon Parrales, Senior OL, J.P. McCaskey – Parrales helped to pave the way for a Red Tornado offensive arsenal which averaged 300.2 yards (217.8 passing, 82.4 rushing) and 22.5 points per game, producing a 2,000-yard passer while scoring 29 total offensive touchdowns (19 passing, 10 rushing).

Devon Robinson, Senior OL/DL, York Suburban – Robinson was one of the Trojans’ contributors up front who helped to pave the way for an offensive unit which averaged 346 yards (284.1 rushing, 61.9 passing) and 29.7 points per game en route to a 6-4 record, producing three 460+-yard rushers and a 440-yard passer while scoring 39 total offensive touchdowns (32 rushing, seven passing).  Defensively, he added 46 tackles (28 solo), two sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 4.6 tackles per game.

Devon Smith, Senior FB/LB, Donegal – Smith tallied 40 tackles (27 solo), a sack, an interception, two deflected passes and a forced fumble, averaging four tackles per game for the Indians, who qualified for the District 3 AAA playoffs.

Dexter Jordan, Junior RB/DB, Conrad Weiser – A returning presence in the Scouts’ defensive backfield, Jordan finished his sophomore season with 66 tackles (38 solo), two interceptions and two deflected passes, averaging 5.5 tackles per game.

Diante Cherry, Senior WR, J.P. McCaskey – A Pennsylvania Sportswriters’ Class AAAA All-State selection at wide receiver, Cherry had a banner junior season for the Red Tornado, hauling in a team-leading 65 passes for 1,003 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 15.4 yards per reception.  Cherry is a potential collegiate prospect in the 2013 recruiting class at wide receiver, and has generated looks from several programs.

Dillon Thomas, Junior RB, South Western – The featured running back in a Mustang ground attack which averaged 232 yards per game last season, Thomas ran for 1,058 yards and 15 touchdowns on 146 carries and caught another six passes for 35 yards, averaging 7.3 yards per carry and 5.8 yards per reception.  He ran for 100+ yards three times and is on pace to finish his career with 3,174 yards rushing.

Dominic Moyer, Senior LB, Wilson-West Lawn – The Bulldogs’ leading tackler and one of the Lancaster-Lebanon League’s top returning linebackers, Moyer finished his junior season by amassing 113 tackles (all solo), five sacks, three deflected passes, three forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries, averaging 8.1 tackles per game while finishing five games with 10+ tackles, including all four of Wilson’s playoff district playoff games.

Drew Hanselman, Senior OL/DL, Manheim Central – Hanselman helped to pave the way for a Baron offensive unit which averaged 282.4 yards (145.9 rushing, 136.5 passing) and 21.3 points per game en route to an 8-3 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs opposite Palmyra, producing a 1,400-yard passer and 890-yard rusher while scoring 30 total offensive touchdowns (20 rushing, 10 passing).

Drew Romesburg, Junior TE/ILB, Dallastown – Romesburg finished his sophomore season with 63 tackles, an interception, a deflected pass and a blocked field goal, averaging 6.3 tackles per game for the Wildcats, who qualified for the District 3 AAAA playoffs opposite Cumberland Valley.

Drew Scales, Senior RB/DB, Central Dauphin – One of the heroes for the Rams in their PIAA AAAA championship victory over North Penn, Scales finished his junior season by amassing 1,936 all-purpose yards (953 rushing, 662 kickoff/punt returns, 321 receiving) and scoring 11 total touchdowns (seven rushing, two receiving, one kickoff return, one misc.), averaging seven yards per carry, 16.1 yards per reception, 13.2 yards per punt return and 25.9 yards per kickoff return.  He totaled more than 250 all-purpose yards in Central Dauphin’s PIAA finals triumph.

Drew Stauffer, Senior OL, Lampeter-Strasburg – Stauffer was a starter on an L-S offensive line which helped to pave the way for a unit which averaged 343.6 yards yards (191.4 rushing, 151.2 passing) and 29.4 points per game, producing three 600-yard rushers and a 2,000-yard passer while scoring 58 total offensive touchdowns (40 rushing, 18 passing).

Drey Murray, Senior WR, Lebanon – The Cedars’ top returning receiver from an aerial assault which averaged 236.6 yards per game last year, Murray caught 22 passes for 396 yards and a touchdown, averaging 18 yards per reception.

Dustin DeGroft, Junior RB/LB, Littlestown – A multi-purpose weapon for the Thunderbolts, DeGroft amassed 684 all-purpose yards (344 rushing, 276 kickoff/punt returns, 62 receiving) and scored two touchdowns (both rushing), averaging 4.3 yards per carry, 31 yards per reception, 15.2 yards per punt return and 16.7 yards per kickoff return.  He also collected 18 tackles (10 solo) and a fumble recovery defensively.

Dustin Crouse, Senior QB/S, Littlestown – One of District 3′s top statistical returning quarterbacks, Crouse finished his junior season by completing 126-of-246 passes (51.2 percent) for 2,147 yards and 18 touchdowns against 10 interceptions, throwing for at least 120 yards in each of the Thunderbolts’ 11 games.  He’s on pace to finish his career with 4,294 yards and become Littlestown’s first-ever career 4,000-yard passer.  He also added 131 yards rushing and one touchdown on 60 keepers.

Dustin Smith, Senior WR/SS, Kutztown – Kutztown’s featured receiver in an aerial assault which averaged nearly 161 yards per game last season, Smith hauled in 30 passes for 429 yards and scored six touchdowns, averaging 14.3 yards per reception.

Dylan DeFrank, Senior WR/LB, Camp Hill Trinity – DeFrank enjoyed a successful junior season, posting 90 tackles (60 solo), four sacks, four interceptions, six deflected passes, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries, averaging 7.5 tackles per game for the 9-3 Shamrocks.

Dylan Ehrlinger, Senior WR/LB, Dover Area – Ehrlinger posted 38 tackles (all solo), two sacks, four deflected passes and a forced fumble, averaging 3.5 tackles per game for the 9-2 Eagles, who reached the District 3 AAA playoffs.

Dylan Maxwell, Senior RB/LB, Donegal – The Indians’ leading returning rusher from 2011, Maxwell totaled 800 yards on 89 carries and caught another four passes for 101 yards, averaging 8.9 yards per carry and 25.3 yards per reception while scoring 11 total touchdowns (nine rushing, two receiving).  Defensively, Maxwell added 58 tackles (40 solo), a sack, a deflected pass and two fumble recoveries, averaging 5.3 tackles per game.

Dylan Moyinhan, Senior RB/OLB, Kennard-Dale – The Rams’ top returning tackler from a season ago, Moyinhan tallied 61 tackles and a sack, averaging 6.1 tackles per game while posting a pair of 10+ tackle games against Big Spring and Dover.  He also ran for 77 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries, averaging 2.3 yards per rush.

Elias Quinter, Junior WR/DB, Muhlenberg – Quinter hauled in 14 passes for 253 yards and scored three total touchdowns for the Muhls, averaging 18.1 yards per reception.

Emmaunual McDowell, Junior RB/DB, York Suburban – One of YS’ top tacklers from a season ago, McDowell collected 84 tackles (52 solo), two interceptions and a deflected pass, averaging 8.4 tackles per game while finishing four games with 10+ tackles, including a season-best 15 stops against Bermudian Springs.

Eryk Cerwankowski, Senior RB, Schuylkill Valley – The Panthers’ featured running back in an offensive arsenal which averaged 251.4 yards per game on the ground last season, Cerwankowski ran for 1,231 yards on 149 carries and caught another 10 passes for 238 yards, averaging 8.3 yards per carry and 23.8 yards per reception while scoring 19 total touchdowns and finishing as the team’s leading scorer, with 114 points.

Ethan Barley, Junior OL/DL, Penn Manor – Barley helped to pave the way for a Comet offensive unit which averaged (177.5 rushing, 109.7 passing) and 28.5 points per game, producing two 600-yard rushers and a 1,200-yard passer while scoring 36 total offensive touchdowns (28 rushing, eight passing).

Evan Buckwalter, Senior TE/LB, Manheim Township – The Blue Streaks’ leading returning tackler from a season ago, Buckwalter tallied 84 tackles (47 solo), an interception, two deflected passes and a blocked field goal, averaging 8.4 tackles per game while posting four games of 11+ tackles against Ephrata, Penn Manor, Wilson-West Lawn and South Western.

Evan Rineer, Senior OL/DL, Donegal – Rineer helped to pave the way for a Donegal offensive arsenal which averaged 333.8 yards (248.8 rushing, 85 passing) and 30.4 points per game en route to a 6-5 record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs opposite Bishop McDevitt, producing three backs with between 444 to 1,500 rushing yards and two 425+-yard passers while scoring 43 total offensive touchdowns (35 rushing, eight passing).

Everett Green, Senior FB/LB, Manheim Township – Green finished his junior season by totaling 53 tackles (32 solo), a sack, an interception and two deflected passes, averaging 4.8 tackles per game for the Blue Streaks.

Francisco German, Senior RB/DB, Muhlenberg – The featured running back in a Muhlenberg offensive arsenal which averaged 131.7 yards per game on the ground in 2011, German finished with 855 yards on 186 carries and caught three passes for eight yards, averaging 4.6 yards per carry and 2.7 yards per reception while scoring six touchdowns for the yellow and blue.

Francisco Guzman, Junior OL/DL, Elizabethtown – A returning starter on the offensive line for the Bears, Guzman helped to pave the way for an Elizabethtown offensive unit which averaged 216.9 yards (119.4 passing, 97.5 rushing) and 13.9 points per game, producing a pair of 440+-yard passers and a 550-yard rusher while scoring 15 total offensive touchdowns (eight rushing, seven passing).

Gabriel Fridgen, Senior SE/DB, Greencastle-Antrim – A returning presence in the Blue Devils’ defensive backfield, Fridgen recorded 44 tackles (27 solo), an interception, six deflected passes, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries, averaging 4.9 tackles per game.  He also saw some action at receiver, where he snagged five passes for 112 yards and one touchdown, averaging 22.4 yards per reception.

Garrett Strobel, Senior WR/DB, Schuylkill Valley – One of four Panther receivers with at least 10 receptions in 2011, Strobel snared 19 passes for 340 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 17.9 yards per reception for Schuylkill Valley.

Gary Harding, Senior OL/DL, Gettysburg – Harding helped to pave the way for a Warrior offensive unit which averaged 265.5 yards (163.9 passing, 101.6 rushing) and 19.8 points per game, producing a 1,600-yard passer and 500-yard rusher while scoring 24 total offensive touchdowns (17 passing, seven rushing).  Defensively, he added 31 tackles (27 solo), averaging 3.1 tackles per game for Gettysburg.

Gavin Johnson, Senior OL, Manheim Township – Johnson helped to pave the way for a Blue Streak offensive unit which averaged 373.9 yards (230.3 passing, 143.6 rushing) and 33.7 points per game en route to an 8-3 record and berth in the District 3 AAAA playoffs opposite South Western, producing a 2,400-yard passer and 790-yard rusher while scoring 52 total offensive touchdowns (29 passing, 23 rushing.

Geordan Barr, Junior LB, Annville-Cleona – Through five games, Barr finished with 35 tackles and a sack, averaging seven tackles per game for the Dutchmen.

Gerald Burns, Senior WR/DB, Wyomissing – Gonzalez was an important piece of a Wyomissing defensive unit which allowed an average of 10.9 points per game, limiting nine of 12 opponents to 14 points or less, with two shutouts.  He also hauled in nine passes for 113 yards and scored three total touchdowns for the Spartans, averaging 12.6 yards per reception.

Haines Ben, Junior K, Hershey – Ben converted 33 extra points and three field goals, accounting for 42 of the Trojans’ total points scored on the season.  He also handled the kickoff chores for Hershey, booting eight of his 58 kickoffs (13.8 percent) for touchbacks.

Hayden Bell, Senior RB/ILB, Delone Catholic – The Squires’ leading returning tackler from a season ago, Bell tallied 87 tackles (51 solo), four sacks and an interception, averaging 7.9 tackles per game while posting a trio of 10+-tackle performances, including a season-high 15 stops against Bermudian Springs.

Hunter Hatlee, Junior RB/LB, Wilson-West Lawn – Hatlee finished his sophomore season with 24 tackles (all solo), a sack, two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery, averaging 2.4 tackles per game.  He also added 92 yards rushing on nine carries, averaging 10.2 yards per carry.

Hunter Root, Senior RB/DB, Manheim Central – A returning two-way presence for the Barons, Root totaled 25 tackles and two interceptions in the Barons’ defensive backfield, averaging 2.8 tackles per game.  He also contributed 113 yards rushing on 26 carries and caught two passes for 15 yards, averaging 4.4 yards per carry and 7.5 yards per reception.

Ian Buffington, Senior RB/OLB, Upper Dauphin Area – The Trojans’ leading returning tackler from a season ago, Buffington totaled 62 stops, an interception, five deflected passes and a forced fumble in eight games, averaging 7.8 tackles per game, including a season-best 16 tackles in a victory over Pottsville Nativity BVM.  He also doubled as UDA’s featured running back, finishing with 466 yards and four touchdowns on 85 carries and catching another six passes for 55 yards, averaging 5.5 yards per carry and 9.2 yards per reception.  Buffington additionally returned 14 kickoffs for 310 yards, averaging 22.1 yards per return.

Isaac Warren, Senior RB/LB, Solanco – Warren finished his junior season by totaling 65 tackles (42 solo), a deflected pass and a forced fumble, averaging 6.5 tackles per game for the Golden Mules.  He’s also Solanco’s leading returning rusher after notching 237 yards and one touchdown on 70 carries, averaging 3.4 yards per carry.

Isaiah Grier, Senior QB, Big Spring – In limited season stats submitted to Maxpreps, Grier completed 32-of-80 passes (40 percent) for 595 yards and nine touchdowns against three interceptions.

Isaiah Miller, Senior RB/DB, York Suburban – Randall finished his junior season by running for 466 yards on 95 carries and hauling in four passes for 15 yards, averaging 4.9 yards per carry and 3.8 yards per reception while scoring six rushing touchdowns and posting consecutive 100-yard rushing performances against Hanover and Littlestown.  He also recorded eight tackles (five solo) and an interception defensively, and returned a kickoff 80 yards for a touchdown against Hanover.

Isiah Taltoan, Senior DB, Lancaster Catholic – Taltoan was part of a Crusader defensive unit which allowed an average of 13.5 points per game en route to the PIAA AA championship game and a 17-7 victory over Tyrone, limiting 12 of 16 opponents to 14 points or less, with one shutout.

Jack Huntsman, Senior FB/LB, Berks Catholic – The Saints’ leading rusher in a ground attack which averaged more than 190 yards per game, Huntsman posted 619 yards on 103 carries, averaging better than six yards per carry, and also caught four passes for 40 yards.  He scored five total touchdowns and also converted one field goal and three extra points.

Jack Miller, Senior TE/DL, Lower Dauphin – The Falcons’ leading returning receiver, Miller hauled in 17 passes for 358 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 21.1 yards per reception while finishing three games with 60+ receiving yards, including a season-high 120 yards against South Western.  Defensively, Miller added 11 tackles (all solo) and two sacks.

Jacob Sterner, Senior OL/LB, Dover Area – Sterner finished his junior season playing in only the first seven games for the 9-2 Eagles, but he amassed 61 tackles (all solo), two deflected passes and a fumble recovery, averaging 8.7 tackles per game while posting three straight 10+ tackle games against Spring Grove, York-William Penn and Kennard-Dale.

Jake Bankert, Junior OG/DE, Littlestown – Bankert helped to pave the way for a Thuinderbolt offensive unit which averaged 365 yards (200.1 passing, 164.9 rushing) and 28.9 points per game en route to a 7-4 record and berth in the District 3 AA quarterfinals opposite Wyomissing, producing three 300+-yard rushers and a 2,100-yard passer while scoring 45 total offensive touchdowns (27 rushing, 18 passing).  Bankert chipped in with 47 tackles (25 solo) on defense.

Jake Slonaker, Senior TE/DE, Bermudian Springs – A returning presence along the defensive line for the Eagles, Slonaker notched 68 tackles, three sacks and a blocked punt, averaging 5.7 tackles per game.

Jake Trump, Senior OL/DL, Mechanicsburg – Trump helped to pave the way for a Mechanicsburg offensive unit which averaged 259 yards (161.7 passing, 97.3 rushing) and 20 points per game en route to a 3-7 record, producing a 1,500-yard passer and 660-yard rusher while scoring 26 total offensive touchdowns (18 passing, eight rushing).  Defensively, Trump posted 45 tackles (24 solo), averaging 4.5 tackles per game for the Wildcats.

Jalan Branford, Senior WR/DB, Reading – One of the Red Knights’ featured offensive centerpieces from a season ago, Branford hauled in a team-best 21 passes for 314 yards and added three carries for 61 yards, averaging 20.3 yards per carry and 14.9 yards per reception while scoring three total touchdowns.

James Dougherty, Senior QB/DB, York Catholic – Doughterty piloted York Catholic’s pass-first offense in 2011, connecting on 120-of-236 passes (50.8 percent) for 2,136 yards and 16 touchdowns against 13 interceptions, throwing for 100+ yards in 10 of 11 Irish games, including a career-best 427 yards and four touchdowns in a game against Biglerville.  He also added 90 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 52 keepers.  Dougherty also averaged 33.3 yards per punt on 36 boots, with nine of his punts (25 percent) downed inside the 20-yard line, booted two of his 48 kickoffs for touchbacks and converted 26 extra points and one field goal for the Irish.

James Moran, Senior RB/LB, Exeter Township – The Eagles’ leading tackler from 2011, Moran notched 111 tackles (85 solo), a sack, two deflected passes, a fumble recovery and a blocked punt, averaging 10.1 tackles per game while posting seven games of 10+ tackles, including a season-high 15 stops against Pottsville.

Jamie Nixon-Alark, Senior WR/DB, York Suburban – One of the Trojans’ multi-purpose weapons, Nixon-Alark had a solid junior season, amassing 1,434 all-purpose yards (731 rushing, 359 kickoff/punt returns, 344 receiving) and scored 16 total touchdowns (nine rushing, five receiving, two kickoff returns), averaging 9.7 yards per carry, 20.2 yards per reception and 34.4 yards per kickoff return.

Jason Bellinger, Junior OL/DL, Kennard-Dale – Bellinger helped to pave the way for a Ram offensive unit which averaged 204.8 yards per game (176.8 rushing, 28 passing) and 15.6 points per game, producing three 300+-yard rushers while scoring 22 total offensive touchdowns (21 rushing, one passing).  Defensively, Bellinger added 42 tackles, two sacks and a blocked field goal, averaging 5.3 tackles per game.

Jason Lindsley, Senior LB, Lampeter-Strasburg – Lindsley was part of a staunch Pioneer defensive unit which allowed an average of 11.4 points per game, limiting nine of 14 opponents to 14 points or less, with four shutouts, helping the team to a 12-2 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA championship game opposite Bishop McDevitt.

Jason Milton, Senior RB/CB, Red Lion – The Lions’ featured tailback last season, Milton ran for 1,005 yards on 137 carries and caught another eight passes for 60 yards, averaging 7.3 yards per carry and 7.5 yards per reception while scoring 12 total touchdowns (10 rushing, one receiving, one kickoff return).

Jason Nye, Senior RB/LB, Gettysburg – The Warriors’ leading returning tackler from a season ago, Nye posted 83 tackles (68 solo), an interception and a deflected pass, averaging 8.3 tackles per game while posting a season-high 14 stops in a loss to Shippensburg.  He also added 81 yards on 12 carries and caught another seven passes for 143 yards, averaging 6.8 yards per carry and 20.4 yards per reception while scoring two total touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving).

J. D. Aument, Junior OL/DL, Hempfield – Aument helped to pave the way for a Black Knight offensive unit which averaged 318.7 yards (230.3 rushing, 88.4 passing) and 23.4 points per game, producing a 1,400-yard rusher and 970-yard passer while scoring 33 total offensive touchdowns (29 rushing, four passing).

Jeff Pickel, Senior OL/LB, Lampeter-Strasburg – Pickel was a starter on an L-S offensive line which helped to pave the way for a unit which averaged 343.6 yards yards (191.4 rushing, 151.2 passing) and 29.4 points per game, producing three 600-yard rushers and a 2,000-yard passer while scoring 58 total offensive touchdowns (40 rushing, 18 passing). Also, Pickel was part of a staunch Pioneer defensive unit which allowed an average of 11.4 points per game, limiting nine of 14 opponents to 14 points or less, with four shutouts, helping the team to a 12-2 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA championship game opposite Bishop McDevitt.

Jeremy Salmon, Senior FB/LB, Cumberland Valley – A multi-purpose weapon in the backfield for the Eagles, Salmon finished his junior season with 236 yards on 39 carries and caught another eight passes for 141 yards, averaging 6.1 yards per carry and 17.6 yards per reception while scoring three rushing touchdowns.  Defensively, he also added 17 tackles and two interceptions.

Jeremy Wray, Senior FB/LB, Shippensburg – The Greyhounds’ No. 2 rusher from a season ago, Wray posted 573 yards on 82 carries and hauled in two passes for nine yards, averaging 6.9 yards per carry and 4.5 yards per reception while scoring five total touchdowns (four rushing, one receiving) and notching a pair of 100-yard rushing performances.

Jeriko Reyes, Senior OL/DL, Wyomissing – Reyes helped to pave the way for a Spartan offensive unit which averaged (250.3 rushing, 95.8 passing) and 40.8 points per game en route to an 11-1 record and berth in the District 3 AA championship game opposite Lancaster Catholic, producing two 770+-yard rushers and an 1,100-yard passer.

Jesse Campbell, Junior QB/DB, Hershey – A multi-purpose weapon in the backfield for the Trojans, Campbell ran for 225 yards on 43 carries and caught another seven passes for 218 yards, averaging 5.2 yards per carry and 31.1 yards per reception while scoring six total touchdowns (three rushing, three receiving).

Jesse Dostel, Senior OL, Lampeter-Strasburg – Dostel was a starter on an L-S offensive line which helped to pave the way for a unit which averaged 343.6 yards yards (191.4 rushing, 151.2 passing) and 29.4 points per game, producing three 600-yard rushers and a 2,000-yard passer while scoring 58 total offensive touchdowns (40 rushing, 18 passing).

Jesse Poore, Senior WR/DB, Wilson-West Lawn – Poore finished his junior season by totaling 42 tackles (all solo), an interception, five deflected passes and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.2 tackles per game.  He also saw time in the Bulldog defensive backfield by rushing for 231 yards and four touchdowns on 37 carries and hauling in two passes for 26 yards, averaging 6.2 yards per carry and 13 yards per reception.

Jhett Janis, Junior QB/DB, Cocalico – A presence in the Eagles’ defensive backfield, Janis collected 39 tackles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery, averaging 4.3 tackles per game in eight games, including a pair of 10-tackle games in consecutive weeks.  He was also a backup quarterback on offense, amassing 210 yards (113 passing, 97 rushing), completing 38.5 percent of his passes and averaging 3.4 yards per carry. 

Jim Brooks, Senior WR/DB, Wilson-West Lawn – Brooks contributed 21 tackles (all solo) and two deflected passes for the Bulldogs defensively last season, averaging 1.5 tackles per game.  He also ran for 194 yards and two touchdowns on 49 carries, averaging 3.9 yards per carry.

Joe Becker, Junior TE/LB, Mechanicsburg – The Wildcats’ leading returning tackler, Becker accumulated 76 tackles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery, averaging 7.6 tackles per game.

Joe Hess, Junior OL/DL, Palmyra – A returning starter on the Cougars’ offensive line, Hess helped to pave the way for a unit which averaged 321 yards (242.6 rushing, 78.4 passing) and 32 points per game en route to a 9-3 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA quarterfinals opposite Red Land, producing 2,200-yard rusher and 900-yard passer while scoring 46 total offensive touchdowns (37 rushing, nine passing).

Joe Julius, Senior K, Lower Dauphin – One of the Mid-Penn Conference’s top returning underclassman kickers, Julius proved quite the weapon for LD last season as he converted 19 extra points and six field goals, scoring 37 of the Falcons’ 189 points on the season, or 19.6 percent of the team’s season scoring output.  He also booted 23 of his 39 kickoffs (66.7 percent) for touchbacks.

Joey Cominsky, Junior QB, Hamburg – The field general at the helm of a Hawk offensive unit which averaged 29.5 points per game, Cominsky completed 88-of-161 passes (54.7 percent) for 1,416 yards and 15 touchdowns against 11 interceptions while adding another 176 yards rushing and three touchdowns on 44 carries, averaging four yards per carry.  Cominsky is on pace to throw for 4,248 yards in his Hamburg career.

Joey Gamble, Senior RB, Hempfield – One of the Lancaster-Lebanon League’s top returning rushers from a season ago, Gamble was one of Hempfield’s primary offensive centerpieces, rushing for 1,487 yards and 18 touchdowns on 235 carries and catching another three passes for 17 yards, averaging 6.3 yards per carry and 5.7 yards per reception.  Gamble’s on pace to run for more than 2,900 yards in his career for the Black Knights.

Joey Goodhart, Junior OL/DL, Hempfield – Goodhart helped to pave the way for a Black Knight offensive unit which averaged 318.7 yards (230.3 rushing, 88.4 passing) and 23.4 points per game, producing a 1,400-yard rusher and 970-yard passer while scoring 33 total offensive touchdowns (29 rushing, four passing).

John Cunningham, Senior OG/MLB, Elizabethtown – A returning starter on the offensive line for the Bears, Cunningham helped to pave the way for an Elizabethtown offensive unit which averaged 216.9 yards (119.4 passing, 97.5 rushing) and 13.9 points per game, producing a pair of 440+-yard passers and a 550-yard rusher while scoring 15 total offensive touchdowns (eight rushing, seven passing).  Defensively, Cunningham added 78 tackles (40 solo), a half a sack, a deflected pass and a fumble recovery, averaging 7.8 tackles per game.

John Ford, Junior RB, Red Land – An important component of Red Land’s rushing assault which averaged more than 175 yards per game, Ford piled up 980 yards on 139 carries and caught another 24 passes for 230 yards, averaging 7.1 yards per carry and 9.6 yards per reception while scoring 16 total touchdowns (15 rushing, one receiving). 

Johnnie Adgers, Senior RB/DB, Waynesboro – The Indians’ primary offensive catalyst in 2011, Adgers ran for 1,504 yards and 16 touchdowns on 214 carries and caught another 12 passes for 163 yards, averaging seven yards per carry and 13.6 yards per reception.  He was also a force defensively, where he totaled 25 tackles (21 solo), a team-leading four interceptions and two deflected passes, averaging 2.5 tackles per game.

Johnny Bosley, Senior OL/DL, Columbia – Bosley helped to pave the way for a Crimson Tide offensive unit which averaged 348.9 yards (178.9 passing, 170 rushing) and 28.6 points per game en route to a 7-6 record, District 3 A championship and berth in the PIAA A quarterfinals opposite Penns Manor, producing two 660+-yard rushers and a 1,600-yard passer while scoring 48 total offensive touchdowns (32 rushing, 16 passing).

Jon Fry, OL, Cocalico – Fry helped to pave the way for an Eagle offensive unit which averaged 307.2 yards (234.2 rushing, 73 passing) and 21.5 points per game, producing two 800-yard rushers and a 500-yard passer while scoring 27 total offensive touchdowns (24 rushing, three passing). 

Jordan Bowman, Senior WR/DB, Central Dauphin – Bowman returns to the Rams’ defensive backfield after posting 43 tackles (22 solo), an interception and four deflected passes, averaging 3.3 tackles per game.

Jordan Mosley, Junior OL/DL, Bishop McDevitt – Mosley helped to pave the way for a Crusader offensive unit which averaged 385.6 yards (221.7 passing, 163.9 rushing) and 33.9 points per game en route to a 13-3 record, District 3 AAA championship and berth in the PIAA AAA finals opposite Archbishop Wood, producing three 630+-yard rushers and a 3,500-yard passer while scoring 74 total offensive touchdowns (44 rushing, 30 passing).

Jordan Nye, Senior WR/DB, Gettysburg – Nye finished his junior season with 61 tackles (52 solo), an interception and a deflected pass, averaging 6.8 tackles per game while posting a pair of 10-tackle performances in consecutive weeks against West Perry and Waynesboro.  He also ran for 46 yards on 10 carries and caught three passes for 70 yards, averaging 4.6 yards per carry and 23.3 yards per reception.

Jorge Ocasio, Senior OL, Lebanon – Cabinaw helped to pave the way for a Cedar offensive unit which averaged 336.9 yards (236.6 passing, 100.3 rushing) and 22.5 points per game, producing a pair of 800+-yard passers and a 480-yard rusher while scoring 33 total offensive touchdowns (18 passing, 15 rushing).

Joseph Cacchione, Senior WR/DB, Wyomissing – The featured wide receiver in a Spartan aerial assault which averaged better than 90 yards per game in 2011, Cacchione hauled in a team-leading 18 passes for 456 yards and added a 34-yard rush in his only carry of the season while scoring nine total touchdowns.  He averaged 25.3 yards per reception and, over the last three seasons, has amassed more than 1,000 receiving yards for the Spartans.

Joseph Rost, Senior WR/DB, York Catholic – The Fighting Irish’s top returning receiver, Rost hauled in 13 passes for 205 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 15.8 yards per reception.  He also added a trio of interceptions defensively for York Catholic.

Josh Chronister, Senior WR/DB, Dallastown – Chronister handled the placekicking chores for the Wildcats last season, converting nine extra points and five field goals, accounting for 24 total points.  He also snagged 15 passes for 179 yards, averaging 11.9 yards per reception.

Josh Cooper, Senior OG/DL, Elizabethtown – A returning starter on the offensive line for the Bears, Cooper helped to pave the way for an Elizabethtown offensive unit which averaged 216.9 yards (119.4 passing, 97.5 rushing) and 13.9 points per game, producing a pair of 440+-yard passers and a 550-yard rusher while scoring 15 total offensive touchdowns (eight rushing, seven passing).  Defensively, Cooper chipped in with 87 tackles, averaging 8.7 tackles per game for the Bears.

Joshua Howard, Senior QB/DB, Millersburg – A dual-threat athlete at the helm of the Indians’ offensive arsenal last season, Howard amassed 1,454 yards of total offense (855 rushing, 599 passing) and accounted for 20 total Millersburg touchdowns (14 rushing, six passing), completing 43-of-100 passes and averaging four yards per carry on 214 rushes.  He threw for 100+ yards in a game three times and ran for 100+ yards in five games.  In his career, Howard has run for 1,968 yards and 28 touchdowns.  Defensively, he added 68 tackles (50 solo), two interceptions, four deflected passes, three forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, averaging 6.2 tackles per game.

Junior Joseph, Senior TE/LB, Wilson-West Lawn – A potential Division-1 prospect in the 2013 class at linebacker, Joseph tallied 59 tackles (all solo), three sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery (which resulted in a touchdown), averaging 4.5 tackles per game.  He also caught five passes for 91 yards and a touchdown on offense, averaging 18.2 yards per reception.

Justin Abraham, Senior DL, Cocalico – Abraham added 16 tackles and two forced fumbles, averaging 1.6 tackles per game.

Justin Causa, Senior RB/LB, Wyomissing – A multi-purpose weapon out of the backfield for the Spartans, Causa ran for 360 yards on 54 carries and caught another seven passes for 182 yards, averaging 6.7 yards per carry and 26 yards per reception while scoring five total touchdowns.

Justin Greene, Senior RB/DB, Manheim Central – The Barons’ No. 2 rusher and top returning running back from 2011, Greene recorded 482 yards and three touchdowns on 159 carries, averaging a little more than three yards per carry.

Keegan Morrison, Senior WR/DB, West Perry – The featured receiver in a West Perry aerial assault which averaged better than 170 yards per game in 2011, Morrison hauled in a team-best 56 passes for 839 yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 14.9 yards per reception while finishing a quartet of games with 100+ receiving yards, including a 186-yard, two-touchdown performance against Susquenita.  Defensively, Morrison added 25 tackles (19 solo), three interceptions and two fumble recoveries, averaging 2.3 tackles per game.

Keith Matthews, Senior RB/ILB, Dallastown – The Wildcats’ second-leading returning rusher, Matthews ran for 336 yards and two touchdowns on 86 carries, averaging 3.9 yards per carry.  He also caught one pass for 15 yards.

Kelvin Nieves, Senior RB, York-William Penn – The Bearcats’ featured running back in 2011, Nieves rushed for 504 yards and six touchdowns on 95 carries and caught another three passes for 17 yards, averaging 5.3 yards per carry and 5.7 yards per reception.

Kenton Heinbaugh, Senior RB/ILB, Lower Dauphin – Heinbaugh recorded 36 tackles (28 solo) and a sack, averaging four tackles per game for the Falcons.

Kirby Breault, Senior WR/DB, Elizabethtown – The Bears’ featured offensive centerpiece last season, Breault posted a team-leading 48 receptions for 843 yards and an additional 275 yards rushing on 60 carries, averaging 4.6 yards per carry and 17.6 yards per reception while scoring 10 total touchdowns (seven receiving, one rushing, one fumble return, one kickoff return).  He posted three games of 100+ receiving yards and two games with 70+ rushing yards.  Defensively, he added 82 tackles (58 solo), two interceptions, a deflected pass and two fumble recoveries, averaging 8.2 tackles per game.

K.J. Williams, Senior OL/DL, Palmyra – A returning starter on the Cougars’ offensive line, Williams helped to pave the way for a unit which averaged 321 yards (242.6 rushing, 78.4 passing) and 32 points per game en route to a 9-3 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA quarterfinals opposite Red Land, producing 2,200-yard rusher and 900-yard passer while scoring 46 total offensive touchdowns (37 rushing, nine passing).

Kregg Shuman, Senior OL/DL, Exeter Township – Shuman finished his junior season by tallying 47 tackles (43 solo), two sacks and two fumble recoveries, averaging 4.3 tackles per game for the Eagles.

Kurtis Rider, Senior FB/ILB, West Perry – The Mustangs’ leading returning tackler from a season ago, Rider recorded 85 tackles, two deflected passes and a fumble recovery, averaging 7.7 tackles per game while notching four games of 11+ tackles, including a pair of 13-tackle games against Greencastle-Antrim and Waynesboro.  Rider also doubles as West Perry’s leading returning rusher after posting 293 yards and three touchdowns on 89 carries, averaging 3.3 yards per carry.

Kyle Beissel, Senior QB/DB, Schuylkill Valley – Both a running and passing threat at the helm of a Panther offensive arsenal which averaged 34.4 points per game last season, Beissel completed 83-of-168 passes (49.4 percent) for 1,377 yards and 11 touchdowns against eight interceptions and added another 214 yards rushing and seven touchdowns on 66 carries, averaging 3.2 yards per rush.  Beissel helped lead the Panthers to a 6-5 overall record and berth in the District 3 AA playoffs opposite Bermudian Springs.

Kyle Biddle, Senior QB, Red Land – A dual-threat athlete at the helm of Red Land’s offensive arsenal which averaged 20.8 points per game and reached the District 3 AAA semifinals, Biddle amassed 1,720 yards of total offense (934 passing, 786 rushing) and accounted for 16 total Patriot touchdowns (nine rushing, seven passing).  He completed 98-of-182 passes (53.8 percent) and averaged 5.1 yards per carry on 154 rushes.  He passed for 100+ yards in a game three times and also ran for 100+ yards in a game three times.  He added 22 tackles and a deflected pass on defense.

Kyle Bohan, Senior OL/DL, Donegal – Bohan helped to pave the way for a Donegal offensive arsenal which averaged 333.8 yards (248.8 rushing, 85 passing) and 30.4 points per game en route to a 6-5 record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs opposite Bishop McDevitt, producing three backs with between 444 to 1,500 rushing yards and two 425+-yard passers while scoring 43 total offensive touchdowns (35 rushing, eight passing).  Defensively, he contributed quite the effort, totaling 49 tackles (25 solo) and five sacks, averaging 4.9 stops per game.

Kyle Bulgarelli, Junior RB/LB/K, York Suburban – Bulgarelli converted 26 extra points and two field goals for the Trojans, scoring 32 of the team’s 297 points on the season, or 10.8 percent of the team’s season scoring output.  He also booted six of his 48 kickoffs (12.5 percent) for touchbacks.

Kyle Keefer, Senior RB/LB, ELCO – Keefer piled up 52 tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery for the Raiders in 2011, averaging 5.2 tackles per game while posting a season-best 11 stops in a victory over Annville-Cleona.

Kyle Keen, Senior FB/MLB, Big Spring – In partial season stats submitted to Maxpreps, Keen posted 50 tackles, a deflected pass, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery for the Bulldogs, averaging 9.3 tackles per game.

Kyle Musser, Senior OL/DL, Penn Manor – Musser helped to pave the way for a Comet offensive unit which averaged (177.5 rushing, 109.7 passing) and 28.5 points per game, producing two 600-yard rushers and a 1,200-yard passer while scoring 36 total offensive touchdowns (28 rushing, eight passing).

Kyle Yocum, Senior QB, Exeter Township – A Delaware recruit and dual-threat quarterback at the helm of Exeter’s offensive arsenal last season, Yocum amassed 2,177 yards of total offense (1,199 passing, 978 rushing) and accounted for 24 total Eagle touchdowns (13 passing, 11 rushing), completing 65-of-144 passes (45.1 percent) and averaging 5.8 yards per carry on 169 rushes, throwing for 100+ yards in six games and running for 100+ yards in five contests.  Yocum has thrown for 2,730 yards in his career for the Eagles.

Larry Griffin, Senior TE/LB, Littlestown – Griffin made his presence known defensively for the Thunderbolts, totaling 52 tackles (28 solo), a sack and an interception, averaging 4.7 stops per game.

Logan Gotshall, Senior OL/DL, Red Land – Gotshall helped to pave the way for a Patriot offensive unit which averaged 251.6 yards (178.1 rushing, 73.5 passing) and 20.8 points per game en route to a 7-6 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA semifinals opposite Bishop McDevitt, producing two 780+-yard rushers and 930-yard passer while scoring 37 total offensive touchdowns (29 rushing, eight passing).

Logan High, Senior OL/DL, Cocalico – High helped to pave the way for an Eagle offensive unit which averaged 307.2 yards (234.2 rushing, 73 passing) and 21.5 points per game, producing two 800-yard rushers and a 500-yard passer while scoring 27 total offensive touchdowns (24 rushing, three passing).  Defensively, he added 27 tackles, averaging three tackles per game.

Luke Bittner, Senior K, Greencastle-Antrim – Bitner converted 55 extra points and two field goals for the Blue Devils last season, accounting for 61 of the team’s 411 points scored on the season, or 14.8 percent of the team’s season scoring output.

Luke McDonald, Senior OL/DL, Lancaster Catholic – McDonald helped to pave the way for a Crusader offensive unit which averaged a whopping 419.5 yards (270.8 rushing, 148.7 passing) and 41.8 points per game en route to a 16-0 record and PIAA AA championship over Tyrone, producing two 1,500+-yard rushers and a 1,990-yard passer while scoring 91 total offensive touchdowns (69 rushing, 22 passing).

Madison Miller, Senior TE/LB, Wilson-West Lawn – Another stalwart at linebacker returning for the Bulldogs, Miller finished his junior season by tallying 56 tackles (all solo), five sacks, three deflected passes, two forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries, averaging 4.3 tackles per game.

Malique Wise, Junior OL/DL, York Suburban – Wise was one of the Trojans’ contributors up front who helped to pave the way for an offensive unit which averaged 346 yards (284.1 rushing, 61.9 passing) and 29.7 points per game en route to a 6-4 record, producing three 460+-yard rushers and a 440-yard passer while scoring 39 total offensive touchdowns (32 rushing, seven passing).  Defensively, he added 18 tackles (10 solo) and 2.5 sacks for YS, averaging 1.8 stops per game.

Marc Royer, RB, Manheim Central – A transfer from Lancaster Catholic, Royer was the Crusaders’ third-leading rusher in a punishing ground attack which averaged more than 245 yards per game, finishing with 459 yards on 37 carries and catching another seven passes for 113 yards, averaging 12.4 yards per carry and 16.4 yards per reception while scoring four rushing touchdowns.  In his career, Royer has run for more than 570 yards.

Mark Pyles, Junior QB/DB, Lebanon – Pyles split time in the Cedars’ offensive backfield with then-senior Alex Trautman, a career 5,000-yard passer, and amassed 1,310 yards of total offense (829 passing, 481 rushing) and had a hand in 19 total Lebanon touchdowns (12 rushing, seven passing), completing 74-of-129 passes (57.4 percent) and averaging 5.3 yards per carry on 91 rushes.  Pyles has already thrown for 990 yards in his career, and could become Lebanon’s latest 4,000-yard passer before his career is finished.

Marquis Fells, Senior TB/DB, Central York – Fels was one of the Panthers’ key two-way players last season in both the offensive and defensive backfields.  He tallied 120 tackles, three interceptions, three deflected passes, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, a blocked punt and a blocked field goal, averaging 9.2 tackles per game.  He doubled as Central’s featured running back, posting 738 yards on 99 carries and hauling in another 20 passes for 249 yards, averaging 7.5 yards per carry and 12.5 yards per reception while scoring 11 total touchdowns (five rushing, four receiving, two misc.).

Marquese Dillon, Senior QB/DB, York Suburban – A dual-threat athlete at the helm of the Trojans’ offensive arsenal, Dillon piled up 1,030 yards of total offense (589 rushing, 441 passing) and accounted for 14 total YS touchdowns (10 rushing, four passing), completing 20-of-46 passes (43.5 percent) and averaging 7.9 yards per carry on 74 rushes.  He threw for 100+ yards once and ran for 100+ yards three times.

Mason Laudermilich, Senior QB/DB, Palmyra – A threat to both run and pass at the helm of the Cougars’ offensive arsenal last season, Laudermilich amassed 1,153 yards of total offense (941 passing, 213 rushing) and accounted for 13 total Palmyra touchdowns (nine passing, four rushing), completing 70-of-152 passes (46.1 percent) and averaging 6.1 yards per carry on 35 rushes.  Laudermilich helped lead the Cougars to a nine-win season and playoff victory over Manheim Central, which came on the road.

Matt Christie, Senior DL, Garden Spot – Christie finished with 54 tackles, a half a sack, a deflected pass and two fumble recoveries, averaging 5.4 tackles per game for the Spartans.

Matt Ferruzza, Senior OL/DL, Donegal – Ferruzza helped to pave the way for a Donegal offensive arsenal which averaged 333.8 yards (248.8 rushing, 85 passing) and 30.4 points per game en route to a 6-5 record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs opposite Bishop McDevitt, producing three backs with between 444 to 1,500 rushing yards and two 425+-yard passers while scoring 43 total offensive touchdowns (35 rushing, eight passing).

Matt Foltz, Senior QB/DB, Donegal – Foltz saw a lot of action for the Indians last season, completing 22-of-49 passes (44.9 percent) for 507 yards and five touchdowns against five interceptions while adding two rushing touchdowns on 19 keepers.  He threw for no more than 98 yards in any Donegal game.  He also served as the team’s placekicker, converting 37 extra points and two field goals in addition to his two touchdowns scored and a pair of successful two-point conversions.  In all, Foltz scored 59 total points.

Matt Kauffman, Junior OL/DL, York Suburban – Kauffman was one of the Trojans’ contributors up front who helped to pave the way for an offensive unit which averaged 346 yards (284.1 rushing, 61.9 passing) and 29.7 points per game en route to a 6-4 record, producing three 460+-yard rushers and a 440-yard passer while scoring 39 total offensive touchdowns (32 rushing, seven passing).

Matt Lehr, Senior RB/DB, York Catholic – The featured tailback in an Irish offensive unit which averaged nearly 120 yards rushing per game, Lehr ran for 1,132 yards and 18 touchdowns on 185 carries and caught another 13 passes for 83 yards, averaging 6.1 yards per carry and 6.4 yards per reception.  He posted five games with 100+ rushing yards, including 297 yards and five touchdowns against York County Vo-Tech.

Matt Marrazzo, Senior OG/DL, Cumberland Valley – Marrazzo helped to pave the way for a CV offensive unit which averaged 297 yards (226 rushing, 71 passing) and 32.2 points per game en route to an 11-2 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAAA semifinals opposite Wilson-West Lawn, producing three 500+-yard rushers and an 890-yard passer while scoring 52 total offensive touchdowns (43 rushing, nine passing).

Matt Martin, Senior WR/DB, Garden Spot – A returning presence in the Spartans’ defensive backfield, Martin tallied 43 tackles, a sack, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, averaging 3.9 tackles per game.

Matt Rothrock, Senior TE/DL, Wilson-West Lawn – A physical, rugged, hard-nosed two-way presence returning for the Bulldogs, Rothrock registered 53 tackles (all solo), two sacks, two deflected passes, two forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries, averaging 3.8 tackles per game.  He also is the team’s top returning receiver on offense after hauling in 21 passes for 231 yards and three

Max Daley, Senior QB/FS, Elizabethtown – The primary field general for the Bears in 2011 (though a total of five different players each attempted at least one pass), Daley connected on 36-of-92 passes (39.1 percent) for 617 yards and four touchdowns, throwing for a season-best 168 yards in a loss to Hershey.

Michael Moore, Senior QB/DB, Bermudian Springs – The leader at the helm of an Eagle offensive unit which averaged 36.4 points per game and reached the District 3 AA semifinals opposite Wyomissing, Moore connected on 51-of-100 passes (51 percent) for 1,031 yards and nine touchdowns against four interceptions, throwing for 100+ yards in a game four times.  He also added one rushing touchdown on 40 keepers.

Michael Murr, Senior QB/DB, Hempfield – A dual-threat athlete at the helm of a Black Knight offensive arsenal which averaged 23.3 points per game, Murr amassed 1,838 yards of total offense (972 passing, 866 rushing) and accounted for 14 total Hempfield touchdowns (10 rushing, four passing), completing 77-of-150 passes (51.3 percent) and averaging 5.2 yards per carry on 166 rushes.  Murr helped lead Hempfield to four victories and a berth in the District 3 AAAA playoffs opposite Governor Mifflin.

Michael Vertucci, Senior WR/CB, Elizabethtown – A returning and experienced presence in the Bears’ defensive backfield, Vertucci finished his junior season with 28 tackles (14 solo), two interceptions, three deflected passes and two fumble recoveries, averaging 2.8 tackles per game for Elizabethtown.

Mike Boguski, Junior QB, Camp Hill Trinity – One of three different Shamrock athletes to attempt more than 40 passes last season, Boguski connected on 23-of-53 passes (43.4 percent) for 491 yards and six touchdowns against two interceptions, throwing for 100+ yards on three separate occasions.

Mike Duffy, Senior QB/CB, South Western – A returning presence in the South Western defensive backfield, Duffy registered 24 tackles (17 solo), three interceptions and five deflected passes, averaging 2.7 tackles per game.

Mike Houseal, Senior OL/LB, Donegal – Houseal helped to pave the way for a Donegal offensive arsenal which averaged 333.8 yards (248.8 rushing, 85 passing) and 30.4 points per game en route to a 6-5 record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs opposite Bishop McDevitt, producing three backs with between 444 to 1,500 rushing yards and two 425+-yard passers while scoring 43 total offensive touchdowns (35 rushing, eight passing).  Defensively, Houseal also made his mark, chalking up 77 tackles (50 solo), a team-leading six sacks and a deflected pass, averaging seven tackles per game.

Mike Perloski, Junior TE/DE, Bishop McDevitt – Perloski had a solid sophomore season for McDevitt, finishing with 40 tackles (21 solo), two sacks, an interception and a team-leading four fumble recoveries, averaging 2.9 tackles per game.

Mitch Baublitz, Senior WR/OLB, Red Lion – Baublitz returns to the Lions for his senior season after posting 39 tackles (26 solo), a half a sack, two deflected passes and a forced fumble at linebacker, averaging 3.5 tackles per game.  He’s also Red Lion’s top returning receiver after snagging 23 passes for 261 yards, averaging 11.4 yards per reception.

Mitch Rodkey, Junior RB/DB, Annville-Cleona – A-C’s leading receiver in 2011, Rodkey hauled in a team-best 22 passes for 387 yards and one touchdown, averaging 17.6 yards per reception while finishing a pair of games with 70+ receiving yards.  He also recorded 100 yards rushing on 10 carries, averaging 10 yards per rush.

Mitch Shober, Junior WR/DB, Cocalico – Shober enjoyed a successful sophomore season in the Cocalico defensive secondary, registering 75 tackles, two interceptions, a deflected pass, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries, averaging 7.5 tackles per game.  He was also one of the Eagles’ featured receiving targets, hauling in seven passes for 155 yards and a touchdown, averaging 21.7 yards per reception.

Mitch Sweigart, Junior OL/DL, Penn Manor – Sweigart helped to pave the way for a Comet offensive unit which averaged (177.5 rushing, 109.7 passing) and 28.5 points per game, producing two 600-yard rushers and a 1,200-yard passer while scoring 36 total offensive touchdowns (28 rushing, eight passing).  Additionally, Sweigart was named to the Big 33 Football Classic’s top-100 underclassmen to watch list.

Mitchell Ramsey, Senior QB/DB, Mechanicsburg – Ramsey recorded 58 tackles (40 solo) and a blocked field goal for Mechanicsburg last season, averaging 5.8 tackles per game.

Nat Hughes, Senior OL/DL, Annville-Cleona – Hughes helped to pave the way for a Little Dutchmen offensive unit which averaged 234.4 yards (134 rushing, 110.4 passing) and 12.2 points per game, producing a 450-yard rusher and 1,000-yard passer while scoring 14 total offensive touchdowns (seven rushing, seven passing).

Nate Henry, Senior DE, Manheim Central – A returning presence in the defensive trenches for the Barons, Henry finished his junior season by totaling 65 tackles, four sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 5.9 tackles per game.  In MC’s District 3 playoff loss to Palmyra, Henry posted seven tackles and 2.5 sacks, arguably one of his best games of the season.

Nate Miller, Senior WR/DB, Lower Dauphin – Miller accumulated 43 tackles (35 solo) for the Falcons, averaging 4.8 tackles per game.

Nate Monroe, Junior RB/DB, Bishop McDevitt – Monroe finished his sophomore season with 55 tackles, 1.5 sacks, a deflected pass and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.4 tackles per game for the Crusaders.

Nate Showalter, Senior WR/DE, Bishop McDevitt – The Crusaders’ second-leading returning receiver, Showalter snagged 18 passes for 315 yards and one touchdown, averaging 17.5 yards per reception.

Nate Tobias, Junior DT, Lebanon – Tobias, who checked in at more than 370 pounds in his sophomore season, was part of a Cedar defensive unit which allowed an average of 30.4 points per game, limiting two of 10 opponents to 13 points or less.

Nathan Hart, Senior OL/DL, Shippensburg – Hart helped to pave the way for a Greyhound offensive unit which averaged 314.9 yards (242.5 rushing, 72.4 passing) and 23.8 points per game en route to a 9-3 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA quarterfinals opposite Lampeter-Strasburg, producing two 570+-yard rushers and a 700-yard passer while scoring 31 total offensive touchdowns (24 rushing, seven passing).  He chipped in defensively with 52 tackles and a deflected pass, averaging 4.7 tackles per game.

Nick Braun, Senior RB/DB, Delone Catholic – A multi-purpose weapon for the Squires, Braun totaled 530 all-purpose yards (262 rushing, 162 kickoff/punt returns, 106 receiving) and scored seven total touchdowns (five rushing, two receiving), averaging 8.7 yards per carry, 26.5 yards per reception and 22.1 yards per kick return.  He also added 19 tackles and two interceptions on defense.

Nick Duncker, Senior LB, West York Area – West York’s top returning tackler from a season ago, Duncker posted 72 tackles (36 solo), 1.5 sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging six tackles per game for the District 3 AAA semifinalist Bulldogs.

Nick Johnson, Senior OL, Warwick – Johnson helped to pave the way for a Warrior offensive unit which averaged 290 yards (173.5 rushing, 116.5 passing) and 19.3 points per game, producing a 900-yard rusher and 770-yard passer while scoring 25 total offensive touchdowns (20 rushing, five passing).

Nick Kroutch, Junior RB/LB, Hershey – Kroutch finished his sophomore season with 33 tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.3 tackles per game.

Nick LaPorte, Junior OL/DL, Manheim Central – LaPorte helped to pave the way for a Baron offensive unit which averaged 282.4 yards (145.9 rushing, 136.5 passing) and 21.3 points per game en route to an 8-3 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs opposite Palmyra, producing a 1,400-yard passer and 890-yard rusher while scoring 30 total offensive touchdowns (20 rushing, 10 passing).

Nick Nobile, Senior WR/DB, Columbia – The Crimson Tide’s top returning receiving target from an aerial assault which averaged 178.9 yards per game in 2011, Nobile snagged 40 passes for 615 yards and one touchdown, averaging 15.4 yards per reception.

Nick Reitenbach, Senior RB/LB, Cocalico – Cocalico’s featured running back in its Veer/triple-option offensive arsenal, Reitenbach finished his junior season with 847 yards and eight touchdowns on 171 carries, averaging 4.9 yards per carry while posting a pair of games with 130+ rushing yards.

Nick Schoener, Senior QB/DE, Conrad Weiser – Schoener helped lead the Scouts to an 8-3 record and berth in the District 3 AAA quarterfinals opposite Bishop McDevitt by completing 67-of-135 passes (49.6 percent) for 1,238 yards and 11 touchdowns against six interceptions, throwing for 100+ yards in a game four times.  He also scored two rushing touchdowns on 53 keepers.

Nick Slusser, Senior RB/LB, New Oxford – The Colonials’ leading returning rusher, Slusser ran for 405 yards and two touchdowns on 88 carries and caught another 12 passes for 52 yards, averaging 4.6 yards per carry and 4.3 yards per reception.

Pat Stevens, Senior WR/DB, Northern Lebanon – The featured wide receiver in a Viking aerial assault which averaged 72.1 yards per game, Stevens hauled in a team-best 12 passes for 271 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 22.6 yards per reception.

Peter Metzger, Senior RB/DB, Gettysburg – Metzger finished his junior season with 61 tackles (52 solo), a sack, a deflected pass and a forced fumble, averaging 6.8 tackles per game for the Warriors.

Phil Herndon, Senior RB/LB, Kennard-Dale – Herndon returns to the Rams for his senior season after posting 42 tackles, an interception, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, averaging 4.7 tackles per game.

Quentin Hall, Junior RB, Annville-Cleona – The featured running back for the Dutch, Hall ran for 451 yards on 106 carries and caught another 11 passes for 50 yards, averaging 4.3 yards per carry and 4.6 yards per reception while scoring four total touchdowns (three rushing, one receiving).  He posted a pair of 100-yard rushing performances for the Dutchmen.

Randy Pham, Senior OT/DT, Central York – Pham returns to his slot on the Central defensive line after notching 76 tackles, two sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 6.3 tackles per game while posting a trio of 11-tackle games against Red Lion, Governor Mifflin and eventual PIAA AAAA champion Central Dauphin.

Rashad Lawson, Junior RB, Bishop McDevitt – Lawson finished his sophomore season by running for a team-best 915 yards and 14 touchdowns on 164 carries and adding another 15 receptions for 139 yards, averaging 5.6 yards per carry and 9.3 yards per reception.

Robbie Devich, Junior WR/DB, Exeter Township – One of three returning defensive backs for Exeter Township, Devich totaled 20 tackles (19 solo), two interceptions and eight deflected passes in his sophomore season, averaging two tackles per game.

Robbie Keyes, Senior TE/LB, Shippensburg – Shippensburg’s leading returning tackler from a season ago, Keyes totaled 99 tackles, three sacks, two deflected passes, a fumble recovery and five blocked field goals, averaging nine tackles per game.

Roman Clay, Senior RB, Lancaster Catholic – A Division-1 prospect at running back in the 2013 recruiting class, Clay had an incredible season in the Lancaster Catholic offensive backfield, finishing with 1,899 yards (a new program single-season record) and 31 touchdowns (another single-season record) on 186 carries, averaging 10.2 yards per carry and finishing 11 of 16 games with 100+ rushing yards.  In his career with the Crusaders to date, Clay has totaled 3,443 rushing yards.

Ryan Brooks, Senior QB/DB, Conestoga Valley – The Buckskins’ field general over the final five games of the season, Brooks totaled 616 yards of total offense (526 passing, 90 rushing), completing 35-of-75 passes (46.7 percent) and averaging 3.6 yards per carry, throwing for 100+ yards in three of five games.

Ryan Heinrich, Senior TE/LB, Waynesboro – Heinrich returns for his senior season after tallying 48 tackles (30 solo), a sack and a forced fumble in 2011, averaging 4.8 tackles per game for the Indians.

Ryan Herr, Senior WR, Camp Hill Trinity – One of six Shamrock receivers with at least 10 receptions in 2011, Herr snagged 14 passes for 261 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 18.6 yards per reception. 

Ryan Lawler, Senior S, Lampeter-Strasburg – Lawler was part of a staunch Pioneer defensive unit which allowed an average of 11.4 points per game, limiting nine of 14 opponents to 14 points or less, with four shutouts, helping the team to a 12-2 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA championship game opposite Bishop McDevitt.

Ryan Kelliher, Senior OL/DL, Northern Lebanon – Kelliher helped to pave the way for a Viking offensive arsenal which averaged 302.2 yards (230.1 rushing, 72.1 passing) and 24.8 points per game, producing two 770+-yard rushers and a 680-yard passer while scoring 33 total offensive touchdowns (24 rushing, nine passing).

Ryan Matthews, Senior RB/LB, Schuylkill Valley – The second half of the Panthers’ 1,000-yard backfield duo, Matthews rushed for 1,032 yards on 114 carries and caught another five passes for 61 yards, averaging 9.1 yards per carry and 12.2 yards per reception while scoring 13 total touchdowns for the District 3 AA quarterfinalists.

Ryan Rickell, Senior RB/DB, Littlestown – The featured back in a Littlestown offensive arsenal which averaged 164.9 yards per game on the ground, Rickell posted 626 yards on 118 carries and caught another six passes for 79 yards, averaging 5.3 yards per carry and 13.2 yards per reception while scoring 13 total touchdowns (12 rushing, one receiving).  He also was a presence on defense, where he finished with 55 tackles, three deflected passes and a blocked field goal, averaging five tackles per game.

Ryan Shanholtz, Senior OL/LB, Waynesboro – Shanholtz posted 50 tackles for the Indians in his junior season, averaging five stops per game.

Rylan Sweed, Senior FB/LB, Garden Spot – The Spartans’ leading returning tackler from its 2011 defensive unit, Sweed tallied 101 tackles, a half a sack, two deflected passes and a forced fumble, averaging 9.2 tackles per game while posting a trio of 11+ tackle games, including a season-high 16 stops against Conestoga Valley.

Sammy Miller, Junior TB/S, Susquehannock – Miller saw quite a varied role for the Warriors in 2011, which allowed him to amass 1,240 all-purpose yards (828 kickoff/punt returns, 386 receiving, 56 rushing) and score three total touchdowns (two receiving, one rushing), averaging 2.4 yards per carry, 16.8 yards per reception, 8.8 yards per punt return and 21.2 yards per kick return.

Samuel Marshall, Junior DB, East Pennsboro – Marshall made his presence known with authority last season in the Panthers’ defensive backfield, accumulating 52 tackles (32 solo), a team-best seven interceptions and three fumble recoveries, averaging 5.2 tackles per game.

Schuyler Harting, Senior OL/DL, ELCO – Harting, arguably the Raiders’ best lineman, helped to pave the way for an offensive unit which averaged 227.6 yards (141.9 rushing, 85.7 passing) and 18.3 points per game, producing two 550+-yard rushers and an 850-yard passer while scoring 20 total offensive touchdowns (14 rushing, six passing).  He also totaled 28 tackles, a deflected pass and a forced fumble on defense, averaging 2.8 tackles per game.

Scott Liebl, Senior RB/LB, Ephrata – Liebl posted 52 tackles, a sack and a deflected pass for the Mountaineers, averaging 5.2 tackles per game while posting a season-best 18 tackles in a non-league contest against Hempfield.

Sean Titus, Senior ATH, Lancaster Catholic – Titus had a fantastic junior season for Lancaster Catholic, helping lead the Crusaders to a 16-0 record and PIAA AA championship.  He intercepted nine passes defensively, returning two for touchdowns, and has posted 15 interceptions over LC’s last two seasons.  Offensively, he’s the Crusaders’ top returning receiver after hauling in 37 passes for 841 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging 22.7 yards per reception.

Shakim McIlwain, Senior RB/LB, Columbia – McIlwain returns to the Tide’s offensive backfield after running for 150 yards on 57 carries and hauling in 16 passes for 227 yards, averaging 2.6 yards per carry and 14.2 yards per reception while scoring two total touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving).

Shane Hershey, Senior OL/DL, Northeastern – Hershey helped to pave the way for a Bobcat offensive unit which averaged 258.2 yards (135.5 rushing, 123.7 passing) and 21.5 points per game en route to a 6-5 record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs opposite West York Area, producing two 500-yard rushers and a 1,300-yard passer while scoring 33 total offensive touchdowns (18 rushing, 15 passing).  Defensively, he chipped in with 48 tackles and a fumble recovery.

Shay Mento, Senior OL/DL, Lancaster Catholic – Mento helped to pave the way for a Crusader offensive unit which averaged a whopping 419.5 yards (270.8 rushing, 148.7 passing) and 41.8 points per game en route to a 16-0 record and PIAA AA championship over Tyrone, producing two 1,500+-yard rushers and a 1,990-yard passer while scoring 91 total offensive touchdowns (69 rushing, 22 passing).

Shereif Sutton, Senior RB/DE, Central York – Central’s No. 2 returning rusher from a season ago, Sutton posted 403 yards and four touchdowns on 52 carries, averaging 7.8 yards per carry for the District 3 AAAA semifinalists.

Simon Williams, Senior TE/DE, Manheim Township – Williams tallied 34 tackles (24 solo), three sacks and a forced fumble, averaging 3.4 tackles per game for the Blue Streaks.  He also hauled in three passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 25.3 yards per reception.

Spencer Lloyd, Senior TE/DL, Wyomissing – Primarily utilized as a blocker in the Spartans’ Wing-T offensive scheme, Lloyd helped to pave the way for a Spartan offensive unit which averaged (250.3 rushing, 95.8 passing) and 40.8 points per game en route to an 11-1 record and berth in the District 3 AA championship game opposite Lancaster Catholic, producing two 770+-yard rushers and an 1,100-yard passer.  He also snagged eight passes for 148 yards and scored three total touchdowns, averaging 18.5 yards per reception.

Spencer Moser, Junior QB, Cocalico – The speed demon in Cocalico’s Veer/triple-option offensive arsenal, Moser ran for 805 yards on 109 carries and caught another 10 passes for 93 yards, averaging 7.4 yards per carry and 9.3 yards per reception while scoring 11 total touchdowns (10 rushing, one receiving) and notching three straight 100-yard rushing performances.  He also completed 1-of-2 passes for 41 yards.  Defensively, he was just as forceful, accumulating 54 tackles (32 solo), two interceptions, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery, averaging 5.4 tackles per game.

Stephen Hilborn, Senior QB/WR/FS, Fleetwood – The featured wide receiver for the Tigers last season, Hilborn caught 46 passes for 648 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 14.1 yards per reception.

Steve Marrazzo Jr., Junior FB/LB, Bishop McDevitt – Marrazzo tallied 33 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a forced fumble and two fumble recoveries for the PIAA AAA runners-up Crusaders, averaging 2.2 tackles per game.

Steven Galbraith, Senior OL, Cedar Crest – Galbraith helped to pave the way for a Cedar Crest offensive unit which averaged 291.9 yards (168 passing, 123.9 rushing) and 21.5 points per game, producing a 1,300-yard passer and 500-yard rusher while scoring 28 total offensive touchdowns (20 passing, eight rushing).

Steven Martinez, Junior FB/ILB, Susquehannock – Martinez was a force at linebacker last season, racking up 51 tackles, 2.5 sacks, a safety and a team-leading (and possibly York County-best, too) five forced fumbles, averaging 5.1 tackles per game for the Warriors.

Steven Salcedo, Junior RB/ILB, York Suburban – Salcedo returns after totaling 44 tackles (28 solo), four sacks, a deflected pass and two forced fumbles, averaging 4.4 tackles per game and finishing with a season-best 13 tackles (10 solo) against Bermudian Springs.

Tanner Leid, Senior FB/LB, Garden Spot – Leid returns to his linebacker spot on defense after tallying 63 tackles, three sacks and a fumble recovery, averaging 6.3 tackles per game.

Tanner McCauley, Senior OL/DL, Manheim Central – McCauley helped to pave the way for a Baron offensive unit which averaged 282.4 yards (145.9 rushing, 136.5 passing) and 21.3 points per game en route to an 8-3 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA playoffs opposite Palmyra, producing a 1,400-yard passer and 890-yard rusher while scoring 30 total offensive touchdowns (20 rushing, 10 passing).

Tanner Reed, Senior WR/DB, Garden Spot – Reed made a significant impact for the Spartans in the defensive backfield last season, totaling 23 tackles, five interceptions (which tied him for the team lead), and one deflected pass, averaging 2.3 tackles per game.

Tavon Parker, Senior QB, York-William Penn – Through the first eight games of the season, Parker connected on 85-of-156 passes (54.5 percent) for 1,240 yards and seven touchdowns and added one rushing touchdown on 32 keepers, throwing for 100+ yards in six of those eight games, including a season-best 349 yards and two scores in a victory over McCaskey.

Taylor Geib, Junior TE/DE, Manheim Central – One of the Barons’ featured receivers in 2011, Geib hauled in 22 passes for 329 yards and a touchdown, averaging 14.9 yards per reception.

Tom Devenney, Senior OT/DT, Warwick – Devenney helped to pave the way for a Warrior offensive unit which averaged 290 yards (173.5 rushing, 116.5 passing) and 19.3 points per game, producing a 900-yard rusher and 770-yard passer while scoring 25 total offensive touchdowns (20 rushing, five passing).

Tony Johnson, Senior HB/DB, Shippensburg – A multi-purpose weapon for Shippensburg, Johnson amassed 568 all-purpose yards of offense (287 rushing, 146 passing, 135 receiving) and accounted for six Greyhound touchdowns (four rushing, one passing, one receiving), completing 7-of-21 passes (33.3 percent) and averaging 5.2 yards per carry and 22.5 yards per reception.

Travis Lamereaux, Senior RB/LB, Millersburg – The Indians’ No. 2 rusher in 2011, Lamereaux ran for 790 yards on 123 carries and caught another seven passes for 60 yards, averaging 6.4 yards per carry and 8.6 yards per reception while scoring eight total touchdowns (six rushing, two receiving) and posting three games with 100+ rushing yards.  Defensively, he added 78 tackles (44 solo), a sack, an interception, a deflected pass and a blocked field goal, averaging 7.8 tackles per game with a trio of 12-tackle games against Big Spring, Halifax and North Schuylkill.

Travis Morrill, Senior RB/OLB, Lower Dauphin – The Falcons’ leading returning rusher, Morrill ran for 602 yards on 138 carries and caught another eight passes for 79 yards, averaging 4.4 yards per carry and 9.9 yards per reception while scoring six total touchdowns (five rushing, one receiving).  He posted a season-best 122 yards rushing in a loss to Cedar Cliff.

Travis Shaffer, Senior WR/LB, Central York – One of two top returning receiving targets from a year ago, Shaffer snagged 14 passes for 264 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 18.8 yards per reception.  He also recorded 19 tackles, an interception, two deflected passes and a forced fumble, averaging 1.6 tackles per game.

Treavon Hinton, Senior WR, Hempfield – The Black Knights’ featured receiver in an aerial assault which averaged 88 yards per game, Hinton hauled in 24 passes for 391 yards and one touchdown, averaging 16.3 yards per reception.

Trevor Hildebrand, Junior QB/S, Littlestown – A veteran presence in the Thunderbolts’ defensive backfield, Hildebrand finished his sophomore season with 62 tackles (32 solo), two interceptions and four deflected passes, averaging 5.6 stops per game.

Trey Campbell, Junior RB/DE, Upper Dauphin Area – A multi-purpose weapon offensively for the Trojans, Campbell finished his sophomore season with 134 yards rushing on 29 carries and caught another 15 passes for 157 yards to finish as the team’s featured receiver, averaging 4.6 yards per carry and 10.5 yards per reception while scoring one rushing touchdown.  Defensively, he added 28 tackles, 1.5 sacks and a deflected pass, averaging 2.8 tackles per game.

Tyler Hartzel, Senior RB/DB, Cumberland Valley – Hartzel finished his junior season with 34 tackles, 2.5 sacks and two deflected passes, averaging 2.6 tackles per game for the Eagles.  He also finished with 180 yards rushing on 42 carries and caught two passes for 20 yards, averaging 4.3 yards per carry and 10 yards per reception.

Tyler Karpinski, Senior WR/DB, Manheim Township – The Blue Streaks’ top returning wide receiver, Karpinski hauled in 50 passes for 720 yards and five touchdowns, averaging 14.4 yards per reception and posting a pair of 100-yard receiving games.  Defensively, he was also a presence, totaling 41 tackles (29 solo), three interceptions (which led the team) and 12 deflected passes, averaging 3.7 tackles per game.

Tyler Petri, Senior FB/LB, Conestoga Valley – CV’s leading tackler in 2011, Petri totaled 76 tackles (57 solo) and a fumble recovery, averaging 7.6 tackles per game for the Buckskins.  He also added 71 yards rushing on 21 carries and caught another 15 passes for 116 yards, averaging 3.4 yards per carry and 7.7 yards per reception.

Tyler Rivera, Senior OL/DL, Palmyra – A returning starter on the Cougars’ offensive line, Rivera helped to pave the way for a unit which averaged 321 yards (242.6 rushing, 78.4 passing) and 32 points per game en route to a 9-3 overall record and berth in the District 3 AAA quarterfinals opposite Red Land, producing 2,200-yard rusher and 900-yard passer while scoring 46 total offensive touchdowns (37 rushing, nine passing).

Tyson Petersheim, Senior WR/DB, Garden Spot – A veteran in the Spartans’ defensive backfield, Petersheim recorded 35 tackles (18 solo), four interceptions, five deflected passes, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.5 tackles per game.  He also caught 21 passes for 272 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 12.9 yards per reception, completed 5-of-12 passes (41.7 percent) for 91 yards and ran for 66 yards on eight carries, averaging 8.3 yards per carry.

Vaynel Peterson, Junior OL/DL, Columbia – Peterson helped to pave the way for a Crimson Tide offensive unit which averaged 348.9 yards (178.9 passing, 170 rushing) and 28.6 points per game en route to a 7-6 record, District 3 A championship and berth in the PIAA A quarterfinals opposite Penns Manor, producing two 660+-yard rushers and a 1,600-yard passer while scoring 48 total offensive touchdowns (32 rushing, 16 passing).

Wilson Lopez, Senior WR, Hempfield – Lopez finished his junior season by running for 120 yards on nine carries and catching another 23 passes for 263 yards, averaging 13.3 yards per reception and 11.4 yards per reception while scoring three total touchdowns (two receiving, one rushing).

William Burt, Junior HB/DB, Shippensburg – The Greyhounds’ featured running back in an offensive arsenal which averaged better than 240 yards per game on the ground, Burt ran for 982 yards and five touchdowns on 116 carries, averaging 8.5 yards per rush while posting five games with 100+ rushing yards.  Burt is on pace to run for 2,946 yards in his career for Shippensburg.

William Hopkins, Senior WR/DB, Cedar Cliff – The Colts’ No. 3 receiver last season, trailing Adam Breneman and Nol Aru, Hopkins hauled in 39 passes for 519 yards and three touchdowns, averaging 13.3 yards per reception while finishing a pair of games with 100+ receiving yards.

Wyatt Dugan, Senior K, Cocalico – Dugan converted 22 extra points and three field goals, scoring 31 of the Eagles’ 215 points on the season, or 14.4 percent of the team’s season scoring output.

Xavier Baney, Senior RB, Cedar Cliff – Baney emerged over the second half of Cedar Cliff’s season, posting 334 yards on 85 carries and hauling in another eight passes for 90 yards, averaging 3.9 yards per carry and 11.3 yards per reception while scoring eight total touchdowns (seven rushing, one receiving).

Yansi Uribe-Martinez, Senior DL, Wilson-West Lawn – A fixture on the Bulldogs’ defensive line, Uribe-Martinez posted 36 tackles (all solo), four sacks and two fumble recoveries, averaging 2.8 tackles per game.

Zach Drayer, Senior QB, Hershey – A dual-threat type of athlete at the helm of the Trojans’ offensive arsenal which averaged 29 points per game and reached the District 3 AAA playoffs, Drayer amassed 1,586 yards of total offense (1,058 passing, 528 rushing) and accounted for 18 total Hershey touchdowns (10 rushing, eight passing), completing 59-of-98 passes (60.2 percent) and averaging 3.7 yards per carry on 143 rushes.  Drayer twice ran for 100+ yards and threw for 100+ yards in a game five times.

Zach Moyer, Senior TE/LB, Northeastern – One of the Bobcats’ key two-way pieces from the 2011 season, Moyer turned in solid performances on both sides of the ball, snagging 24 passes for 466 yards and five touchdowns while averaging 19.4 yards per reception on offense, and, defensively, totaling 81 tackles, six sacks and two forced fumbles, averaging 7.4 tackles per contest with a trio of 10+-tackle games.

Zach Smith, Senior QB/S, West Perry – The Mustangs’ field general in 2011, Smith helped lead West Perry to a 5-6 overall record by completing 124-of-265 passes (46.8 percent) for 1,978 yards and 24 touchdowns against 17 interceptions and adding another 269 yards rushing and four touchdowns on 74 carries, averaging 3.6 yards per carry.  He threw for 100+ yards in 10 of 11 Mustang games, including two 300-yard games, and has thrown for 2,867 yards and 36 touchdowns in his career.  Defensively, he added 29 tackles (19 solo), two interceptions, a deflected pass and a forced fumble, averaging 2.6 tackles per game.

Zach Weidenhammer, Senior FB/LB, Conrad Weiser – Weidenhammer finished his junior season with 35 tackles, a sack and three fumble recoveries for the District 3 AAA quarterfinalist Scouts, averaging 2.9 tackles per game.

Zach Zerby, Senior OL/ILB, Upper Dauphin Area – Zerby finished his junior season by totaling 43 tackles, a deflected pass and a fumble recovery, averaging 4.8 tackles per game for the Trojans.

Zachary Carley, Senior OL/DL, ELCO – Carley helped to pave the way for an offensive unit which averaged 227.6 yards (141.9 rushing, 85.7 passing) and 18.3 points per game, producing two 550+-yard rushers and an 850-yard passer while scoring 20 total offensive touchdowns (14 rushing, six passing).  Defensively, he added 35 tackles and a fumble recovery, averaging 3.5 tackles per game.

Zachary Waltz, Senior WR/DB, Muhlenberg – Muhlenberg’s leading receiver a season ago, Waltz snagged a team-best 20 passes for 302 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 15.1 yards per reception.

Zack Smith, Senior WR/DB, West York Area – One of two featured receivers in the West York aerial assault last season, Smith hauled in 25 passes for 547 yards and nine touchdowns, averaging 21.9 yards per reception.  He also ran for 73 yards on 10 carries and returned a combined 26 kickoffs/punts for 403 yards, averaging 16.7 yards per punt return and 13.3 yards per kickoff return.

Zayd Issah, Senior RB/LB, Central Dauphin – A Penn State recruit and key two-way presence for the Rams in 2011, Issah ran for 1,345 yards on 235 carries and caught another 29 passes for 672 yards, averaging 5.7 yards per carry and 23.2 yards per reception while scoring 31 total touchdowns (21 rushing, 10 receiving). He also was a defensive stalwart, recording 123 tackles (69 solo), 14 sacks, an interception, four deflected passes, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries, averaging 7.7 tackles per game.
