2010 JUNIOR RANK ELITE HIGH SCHOOL UNDERCLASSMEN SHOWCASE ANNOUNCES FIRST 12 ATHLETES TO PARTICIPATE IN NATIONAL SHOWCASE

December 10, 2010, St. Charles, IL –  Junior Rank is pleased to announce that the first 12 national athletes confirmed to be displaying their skills on the national stage in the 2010 Junior Rank Elite High School Underclassman Showcase in Tempe, AZ. The combine event, which recognizes top prep talent, celebrates the best athletes from this age group on and off the field. This year’s combine will be held on the beautiful campus of Campo Verde High School on December 29th.

According to Junior Rank Founder and CEO, Shaon Berry, this is the first event of its kind on a national level. Berry himself played college football as Pitt, lettering for two years in the Big East program’s backfield.

“No other event has ever attempted to bring together the best players in the nation from freshmen to juniors and even some very talented seniors,” Berry said. “The Junior Rank Elite High School Underclassmen Showcase will represent so many national players from established top talent to players still looking to make a name for themselves. The chance to be tested and then to go up against other top athletes will let players make a true name for themselves – it is really the best of the best.”

The following 12 national athletes  will be part of an impressive bowl week in Tempe. On December 29th, there is the  first ever Elite High School Underclassmen Showcase –  an event held in conjunction with famed talent scout Tom Lemming, made famous in the movie Blindside for discovering NFL star Michael Oher. Two days later on December 31st, Junior Rank will host the Junior Rank Sports National Youth Combine, to test and evaluate middle school talent. In addition, the Diamond Bowl will allow the best 7th and 8th grade talent in the nation to compete against each other in a true all-star game of pre-prep talent.
