District 11 Talk Week 7

East Stroudsburg South

Kyshoen Jarrett’s interception early in the third quarter led to the game’s first score. Collin Hegarty returned a pick for a touchdown in the fourth quarter as East Stroudsburg South went on to the 21-0 win over Pocono Mountain East.

The Cavs defense forced four turnovers and got three sacks.

Hegarty rushed for 72 yards on 8 carries and two touchdowns.

East Stroudsburg South (6-1) hosts Pleasant Valley.

Northern Lehigh

Northern Lehigh pounded Northwestern using running back Cody Remaley. Remaley rushed for 246 yards on 49 carries and two touchdowns to lead his team over Northwestern 21-7.

Northern Lehigh had 283 total yards and 15 first downs. On defense they held Northwestern Lehigh to 145 yards total offense.

Northern Lehigh (6-1) travels to Bangor.

Parkland

Running back Andre Williams rushed for 384 yards on 21 carries and five touchdowns as Parkland knocked off previously unbeaten Allentown Central Catholic 42-21.

Williams scored on touchdown runs of 62,76,45,39 and 48 yards.

Parkland racked up 458 total yards of offense and 17 first downs.

Parkland (5-2) travels to Dieruff.

Easton Area

Quran Hughes rushed for 50 yards on the Red Rovers final series and went in for the 2-yard run and Easton Area defeated Bethlehem Freedom 14-10.

Easton “D” held running back Darrius Webb to 158 yards on one touchdown.

Quarterback Justin Pacchioli completed 5 of 16 passes for 61 yards and one touchdown. Hughes finished the game with 94 yards on 20 carries and one touchdown.
