  1. kevin says:

If west catholic is so good, then why don’t they move up to 3a? Bethlehem catholic is a 2a enrollment, but competes at a higher class. Back in the late 90’s, they competed 4a. I do still believe west catholic should drop. Idc how tough there opponents are. They’re the ones scheduling them. If any other school loses, they drop. Why not them?

  2. WAalum says:

In AAA, Abington Heights should not be an honorable mention after their loss to WVW.

Montour should not be ranked higher than Hopewell after Hopewell defeated them. Hopewell should be in the top 10 ahead of Montour.

  3. div1 says:

Good point Brian, I was at the wood, wc game….huge line and in my opinion one of the best rbs in the state,… if not the country and he is only a Jr. They were out matched but brought a lot to the table. This will only prepare them for the future . Wc won’t see any school comparable at the aa level.

  4. Brian says:

do the people who are saying West Catholic should drop down in the rankings because they lost their first 2 games. Well they lost to a very good AAAA team and they lost to the #1 AAA team. That same AAA team lost by 3 points and had a chance at a tying FG or winning TD in the final minutes against the #1 AAAA team, who is ranked 23 in the country. There is not another AA team that has played that type of schedule for the first 2 games. I think WC may even be 0-3 after this week. My guess is they will finish 13-3 and win a state title. I could be wrong though its only week 3.

    @ John:

    ………. via recruiting.

  6. adam says:

i was a big acc supporter i thought with good senior leaders and experience they would have a better showing, scoring isnt their problem but the kids havent responded well to adversity so far but they have the talent to go on a roll bishop mcdevitt dropped their first 2 last yr and reached the final so anything can happen but for right now they arent top 10 material

  7. John says:

to div1, thank you, ACC has a few supporters who have been over the top. They are a great team and I’m sure full of good kids and proud parents, but public schools are now against the Catholic School machines. Heck within that world look what BC did to La Salle. For Catholic schools, it has become who can recruit better. Anyone who does not see that has not followed the evolution since since the late 70’s of building programs that are consistently strong and determined to win the Champiosnhip game

  8. div1 says:

I would like to know where all the acc supporters are now, how they are the best in the state and untouchable, you really got that right, back to reality.

  9. Buddy says:

Accurate ratings. Kevin has a point. Maybe WC should drop down ( not out), until they prove themselves. No doubt they will.

  10. Mark says:

AAA Honorable mention Abington Heights. 51-0 thrashing to valley west. Their time has come and gone. It bothers me that these schools continue to get recognition based on past laurels. There are to many good schools that have worked hard to get noticed. Any team with 1 loss, I would consider as honorable mention. Two losses forget about it, unless they run the table the rest of the season. I’m just saying.

  11. kevin says:

I think u need to fix ur #1 team for 2a. They lost 2 in a row. I don’t care how good they’re. It’s not fair to other teams who have won their first 2 games to be out ranked by an 0-2 team. Make any sense?
