District 2 notes week 2 2010

North Pocono and Berwick met in a big showdown in District 2 action. North Pocono moved out to an early lead before Berwick made an impressive comeback taking the game right to the wire. In the end, it was North Pocono prevailing 21 to 20. Berwick scored a late TD pass, but the 2 point conversion was batted away by North Pocono`s Frankie DePietro. Greg Sporko had 2 TDs for the victorious Trojans. Look for both teams to make plenty of noise in the AAA playoffs down the stretch.
