Week 8: Top Offensive Performers (10/19-10/21)

School Record >> Southern Lehigh’s Luke Strauss six touchdowns and 36 points ties school record set by Jeremy Mack in 1997 against Palisades.

 

School Record >> Southern Lehigh’s 505 yards rushing broke the previous record of 487 vs. Catasauqua in 1997.

 

School Record >> Penn Wood’s Quarterback Desman Johnson Jr. broke the team’s single season passing yardage mark. It was previously 1,775 yards set by Javon Lindsey-Terrell in 2015. Desman has 1,787 yards and counting.

 

School Record >> Marple Newtown’s Anthony Paoletti set another school record. He now has 55 touchdown passes breaking the previous record of 53 by his head coach Chris Gicking.

 

So far this season Martin Luther King has 20 total interceptions in nine games and 16 of which came in the past four games.

    RB Rahsul Faison of District 1 Class 4A Pottsgrove rushed for 301 yards on 28 carries & 6 TDs against Pope John Paul II on Oct 20th (http://papreplive.com/football/event/23527/).

    On the season he has 2,217 yards rushing on 208 carries (10.7 YPC) and 33 TDs. (http://papreplive.com/football/pioneer-athletic-conference-leaders/)
