Key Stats: Entering the 2017 as the 3 time defending SOL American Conference Champions

2017 Offensive Outlook: Graduation has once again depleted the Cardinals of experienced players. The team will look to players within the system to rise up and fill the voids left by graduation. Julian Gimbel is poised to take over as the signal caller, and will rely heavily on Sr. Malik Bootman to carry the load offensively. Up front Chris McDermott and Quinton Derr return to provide experience in the O-line. Lots of competition at the receiver position will be interesting who steps up to claim these positions.

2017 Defensive Outlook: With only two returning starters on defense in Max Winebrake and Malik Bootman, the team will rely on the two leading tacklers from the 2016 campaign to provide the leadership on the defensive side of the ball until the newcomers can gain traction.

2017 Special Teams Outlook: Both kickers return as well as the long snapper. WIth the inexperience on offense and defense, special teams will play a vital role in our success, especially early in the season.
