Springfield Delco Tabs Britton Head Coach

For 12 years one fixture on the Springfield Delco Coaching Staff as been Chris Britton who has served in multiple roles including the past six seasons as defensive coordinator. During his tenure Britton as seen the Cougars do a complete turn around from a team that was routinely in the bottom part of the Central League to a team that expects to capture Central League and District Championships.

Now Britton as a new role as on Tuesday afternoon he was named head coach of the Cougars replacing Tom Kline who stepped down in Decemeber.

Britton, a math teacher in the district and a Springfield Alumnus has been a popular coach with his players. He will have a team that is poised to return to District 1 AAA Playoffs for the fifth year in a row.
