pen_argylNick Oyer caught five passes for 251-yards and four of them went for touchdowns in a 35-2 win against Northern Lehigh. Quarterback Ryan Hunt completed all five of his passes to Oyer. “We don’t throw the ball much,” said head football coach Paul Reduzzi. “This record may last a while.”

Oyer breaks the old mark of 180-yards set by Zach Miler in 2011 against Wilson Area. The 251-yard performance by Oyer falls one yard short of the Colonial League record of 252 yards set by Zach Bogoly of Wilson last year against Salisbury.

So far this season Nick has caught 18 passes for 505 yards and eight touchdowns. “Our receivers get their name on a banner in the gym if they have 500 plus yards receiving. He is over that for the year.”

“Nick may be the most coachable kid I have ever met.” This year he has played all over the field for the Green Knights. “He’s played tight end for us, wide receiver, quarterback, running back, fullback and has done everything but put a lineman number on.”

“On defense he has played multiple positions, at times he has punted for us and does kick returns. He makes great decisions and always puts him self in good positions.”
