The Pennsylvania Cable Network (PCN) will once again provide LIVE coverage of the PNC Big 33 Football Classic to a statewide audience. PCN will air what is described by many as “The Super Bowl of High School Football,” on Saturday, June 16. LIVE coverage of the game, which pits Pennsylvania against Ohio, will begin at 7:00 p.m. from Hersheypark Stadium. An encore presentation of the game has been scheduled to air on Sunday, June 17 at 10:00 p.m.

Following the conclusion of the LIVE game, PCN will air its coverage of the PNC Big 33 coaches’ press conference with WHTM ABC 27’s Gregg Mace. Airing at 11:15 p.m. will be the “Celebration of Achievement” awards program from Friday featuring head football coaches Bill O’Brien of Penn State and Urban Meyer of Ohio State. The program will also include this year’s honorary game chairman and Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback, Ben Roethlisberger. The special awards program will re-air on Sunday, June 17 at 6:00 p.m.

Online viewing of the PNC Big 33 Football Classic will also be available for $6.99 through an agreement with LiveSportsVideo.com and will run throughout the network’s coverage. LIVE streaming will begin at 6:55 p.m. on Saturday, June 16. To view online, visit http://www.livesportsvideo.com/golive/goliveevents.asp?q=PCN.

The Big 33 awards academic scholarships to high school seniors as well as provides fundraisers to support local charities and high schools in both Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Thanks to an agreement with the Big 33 Scholarship Foundation, Inc., PCN viewers across the state will be able to watch the game, which is now celebrating its 55th year.
