Norristown HS – Head Football Coach

Minimum Requirements: Five years’ experience coaching at the scholastic or collegiate level which has included prior experience in game scouting and game film breakdown
– Knowledge of current football rules, regulations and game strategies
– Excellent oral and written skills
– Ability to promote interest, skills and lifelong participation in various physical activities
– Ability to teach beginning and advanced football skills
– Ability to interact with student-athletes at different skill levels in a positive and professional manner
– Ability to organize and run all aspects of football program including but not limited to:
– Off-season conditioning
– Staff management
– Encouraging student participation
– Instituting a system utilized at all levels
– Media and community relations
– Ability to work effectively with administrators
– Ability to work with parent groups and community groups
– Ability to advise and mentor current student-athletes

Primary Location: Norristown Area High School

Salary Range: Stipend

Shift Type: Part-Time
