Central Dauphin OL/DL Artie Rowell verbally commits to Pitt
Written by: Josh Funk on Wednesday, May 19th, 2010Central Dauphin OL/DL Artie Rowell (6’2, 296 lbs.) made a verbal commitment to the University of Pittsburgh today, according to Rivals.com. Rowell’s choice came down to two final schools – Pitt and Northwestern. Rowell also had a scholarship offer from Temple.
A source from a recruiting service told me earlier in the week that Rowell seemed like he would commit to Pittsburgh soon, so Rowell’s commitment today comes as little surprise.
Verbal commitments are non-binding until players sign a letter of intent in February.
