Key Stats: In Coach Singletary’s debut season as Head Coach, the GW Eagles had a QB who threw for over 1000 yards for the first time in school history in a brand new offensive scheme.

2016 Offensive outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on offense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

We are a very young team with a strong nucleus of seniors. We have 3 fast running backs who are punishing runners. Our success will be predicated by our offensive line. We have a lot of new young faces on our offensive line, but they are tough and hungry.

2016 Defensive Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on defense. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

Our defense will be young and scrappy. Our key on defense will be pursuit to the football and having 11 helmets around the ball carrier on every play.

2016 Special Teams Outlook: (Please let us know the keys about your team on special teams. What are your keys to having a successful year?)

1/3 of our practice will be dedicated to special teams. They account for a third of the game and are always the difference between winning and losing close games. Special Teams will be a major point of emphasis this year.
