2013 Small School Coach of the Year: Mike Schuback, Old Forge

Schuback has coached for 12-years and is the second all-time winningest coach in Old Forge history behind Elio Ghigiarelli. He has a record of 103-42 with three District Two titles and nine division crowns.

He was the freshman coach for three years and coached one-year under Steve Armillay as an assistant at Pittston Area.

His team was the second highest scoring team in Eastern Pennsylvania among Class A teams with 598 points.

The Blue Devils’ 598 points are a new school single-season record and the programs first 500-point scoring team in school history.

They also got it done on defense this year, allowing 10.0 points per game.
