Central York

Charles Anderson carried Central York to a thrilling 13-12 win over South Western in a YAIAA Division I game.

Anderson rushed for 310 yards on 38 carries and two touchdowns. The last two weeks Anderson has rushed for 609 yards. Anderson had touchdown runs of 65 and 57 yards on the ground.

Anderson’s season rushing total is now 1,536 yards.

Central York (6-2) travels to Red Lion Area.

Trinity

Trinity was down 20-0 and scored 34 unanswered points and went on for the 34-20 win over Steelton-Highspire.

Patrick Dill completed 5 of 16 passes for 108 yards. He also rushed for 48 yards and two touchdowns.

Austin Durham rushed for 23 yards and two scores and John Zornosa added 30 yards and one score.

Trinity (6-2) travels to Palmyra.

Wilson West Lawn

Junior linebacker Erik Schmeck had a sack, a fumble recovery and an interception for a game-winning touchdown as the Bulldogs beat Manheim Township 35-16.

Zach Zweizig completed 8 of 14 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns.

Wilson West Lawn had 309 total yards of offense and 12 first downs.

Wilson West Lawn (7-1) hosts Penn Manor.

Northern

On a night with steady rain and blowing wind Northern defense shut down Greencastle-Antrim 21-0 in a Mid-Penn Capital Division game. The win by Northern puts them in the driver seat for a division title.

Northern held Greencastle-Antrim to 86 yards rushing on 40 carries and took advantage of five turnovers by Greencastle-Antrim (four fumbles and an interception).

Matt Richmond rushed for 103 yards on 24 carries.

Northern (7-1) travels to Susquehanna Township.
