District 3 Talk Week 5

West York

West York used a nice balanced attack, 453 total yards of offense, and went on for another blow out win over Eastern York 42-14.

Quarterback Alex George completed 9 of 17 for 178 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for 61 yards on 6 carries. Running back Corey Harris rushed for 123 yards on 16 carries and two touchdowns.

West York (5-0) hosts Northeastern.

York Suburban

With the game tied in the second quarter Nathaniel Cross returned a 98-yard kickoff for a touchdown to give York Suburban the lead for good. The Trojans went on for the 34-13 win over Northeastern.

Cross finished the game with 266 total yards, 145 yards rushing on 15 carries and two touchdowns. Cody Waltimyer rushed for 195 yards on 14 carries and two touchdowns.

York Suburban rushed for 33 1 yards on 38 carries, 8.7 yards per carry.

York Suburban (4-1) travels to Eastern York.

Muhlenberg

Sean Hagen’s 156 yards and three touchdowns helped Muhlenberg beat Exeter 28-14 in an Inter-County Section One game.

Hagen’s third touchdown from 35 yards out gave Muhlenberg the lead for good 21-14.

Quarterback Wes Estock passed for 161 yards.

Muhlenberg hosts Pottsville Area.

Manheim Township

Brian Sourber and company rushed for 348 yards on their way to a 34-14 win over Warwick.

Sourber rushed for game high 205 yards and four touchdowns. He also caught two passes for 40 yards.

Manheim Township (4-1) travels to Cedar Crest.
