District 3 Talk Week 11

Central Dauphin

Central Dauphin overcame two first-half deficits to knock off Cumberland Valley 38-35. With the win they claim a share of the Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth Division championship.

Quarterback Lewis Correale completed 13 of 18 passes for 152 yards and one score.

Marcus Simpson caught 8 passes for 117 yards and one score. Colton Charles rushed for 131 yards on 22 carries and one score.

Wilson West Lawn

Warwick led 13-10 in the fourth quarter and had Wilson West Lawn pinned third and 41 from the Bulldog 20.

Somehow quarterback Zach Zweizig eluded a tackler and hit a wide-open Sheldon Hannibal-Nixon for a 66-yard gain.

Three plays later Wilson West Lawn scored the go ahead touchdown and never looked back in the 31-13 win.

Zweizig completed 12 of 22 passes for 217 yards. Kris Brown rushed for 86 yards on 19 carries and one score. Nick Greth rushed for 66 yard on 7 carries and two touchdowns.

Littlestown

Littlestown upset previous unbeaten West York 47-21. Littlestown improved to 8-2 and tied West York for the Division II crown with a 6-1 league record.

The Thunderbolts rushed for 264 yards and 466 yards of offense. They also had 22 first downs.

Matt Zuber threw for 202 yards and three touchdowns. He also rushed for 70 yards and two scores. Junior running back Sean Doherty rushed for 132 yards on 26 carries and a score.

Delone Catholic

Delone Catholic beat Hanover 42-14. With the win the Squires secured the YAIAA Division III title and the No. 2 seed in the PIAA District 3 Class AA playoffs.

Dusty Reed rushed for 107 yards and three touchdowns. Austin Brady passed for 75 yards and two scores.
