John Gilmore/Chad Henne All-Star Weekend

2010 High School Football 7 on 7 Passing Tournament

Hello Coaches:

The 7 on 7 passing leagues are growing rapidly across the United States as an opportunity for skill position football players to work on their football skills in the off season. With 7 on 7 football passing tournaments, high school football players continue to enhance their skills through the many repetitions available in a fast-paced passing game thus gaining valuable experience during the summer. Premier Athlete Performance is proud to present the first annual 7 on 7 High School Football Passing Tournament to Berks County, in conjunction with the John Gilmore/Chad Henne All-Star Weekend. All proceeds from this tournament will go to the Gilmore/Henne Community Fund at Berks County Community Foundation. This fund was created to improve recreational facilities throughout Berks County and will give scholarships to high school athletes.

Please visit www.bccf.org for more information regarding the John Gilmore/Chad Henne All Star Weekend.

PAP is proud to bring a structured tournament to Berks County that will allow for coaches and players to improve. This tournament will develop team chemistry between quarterbacks, receivers, and running backs and the linebackers, cornerbacks, and safeties, better preparing them for their fall season.

During the 2008 NCAA football season there were 22 quarterbacks from Texas that started for Division-I football programs across the country; which represents a significant expansion over prior years. Much of the recent proliferation of quarterbacks at the Division-I Level can be attributed to the impact of the rise of 7 on 7 football passing tournaments in the state of Texas over the last 10 years. Premier Athlete Performance would like to have the same success with this type of tournament.
